Hi, I had two blastocysts transferred in our first ICSI treatment, which amazingly was successful & I am now 20 weeks pregnant with triplets!

How many did you have transferred when you got pregnant with your twins?

I understand that in UK you can only have max of 2 transferred unless you are over ...

Alette, your friend can be given ratios. I was even given them for my triplets. I went to the fetal medicine unit in Harley Street ( run by Prof Nicholaides who invented the Nuchal Test) but also had a nuchal scan with ratios at our NHS hospital. Ratios better at clinic as they are far more ...

Message for Joy

Joy, are your twins identical?

If they are please insist you are given a scan before 20 weeks. I don't want to be a scaremonger or anything but I have just lived through the horror of twin to twin transfusion syndrome. We had scans at 12 & 14 weeks and all fine but at 16weeks it was discovered we ...

Just got back from the hospital. I really think today has been the longest day of our lives. Incredibly all 3 babies are alive & doing well. Even the professer said it was remarkable. The baby that had no fluid at all now does & has grown and shows normal blood flows.

It feels like a miracle. In ...

Thanks to everyone for their messages, prayers & thoughts.

We are just back from the hospital. I am pleased to say that Professor Nicholaides ( at Kings) managed to do the operation & successfully separated the placenta. It was very trickly but the guy is an absolute genius, we are so incredibly ...

Thanks for you messages & taking time to look up sites for me - so kind.

Have spent 24 hours reading up - thank goodness for the internet & feel a bit calmer. Have found a great US site & I am concentrating on only the positive stories.

Thanks

Hello everyone, just seeing if there is anyone here with identical twins where they are sufferig TTTS?

Hi Sue, just about getting over the shock!

Had 2 Nuchal tests!
Quite different results but both ok. The best one gave us a risk of about 1:1200 for the single & 1:1900 for the identical twins. They couldn't do teh blood test element as that doesn't work with 3!

Hope things going well with you.

Thanks to you all for you messages - feeling much calmer than this morning. Have been for a special scan today & it seems that there are lots of complications with triplets where one set is identical twins- but feel we are going to be in good hands once we get ourselves referred to Kings Hosp which ...

Kim - fantastic news - congratulations, it is great to have another set of twins due near Sue & me, so we can share experiences.

I have generally not felt well the whole way through - never actually been sick - just queasy all day & SOOOOOOOOO tired! By the end of the week I am just about dead on ...
