Dear Kellym

Please don't ever give up hope of your dream. I have also done three IVF's and have not even made it to a chemical pregnancy. The fact you were able to get pregnant is a very positive sign. In IVF terms, three times is not that many, it is just like trying to conceive naturally for ...

Thanks for the thoughts. Unfortunately we did get offered an appointment in January but as my hubby works abroad a lot it just wasn't pratical. I have done 3 IVF's in Asia so that he needn't stress out about being in the right place at the right time. I have left three frosties there as I am quite ...

Dear CarolynB

That's great news. I wish you every success with it, and as you are going to be there one month before me, please let me know your thoughts and feelings on how the appointment goes. I have had to push mine back to Easter time but at least I have time to save the pennies.

Wishing you ...

Just to balance the coin I have had the short protocol. I would like to know more about one versus the other. I have done two fresh cycles and produced 11 eggs each time, 8 would fertilise and 6 would be usable. 3 transferred fresh and 3 transferred frozen. Unfortunately nothing goes any further ...

Dear CarolynB

I posted my medical notes of at the end of November and was offered an appointment in January. Unfortunately as I am currently away I cannot get there until April. They don't schedule that far ahead and I will call back in a week or so and see if they are filling that part of the ...

I am not put off by any of the bad press they have received. Although I have yet to get to the ARGC the real feelings that I get from it are from these boards. The only complaints I have read is that there is a lack of privacy. Without having any true information I still think these attacks come ...

Dear Bonnycat

Your information has been really helpful so thank you so much. I was just surprised that you talked about doctors in the plural. I thought there was just the great Dr T. Are you saying he will probably not be dealing with my case and that I will see many different doctors?

All the ...

Dear Bonnycat

It's great to hear from you and also that you too have to schedule your life around going to London. Where do you stay once you are there, if it is a nearby place to the ARGC do you mind to let me know.

Also, how did they suprress your immune problem and was it to do with Natural ...

Dear Lucy

Thank you so much for your informative reply and I am so happy to hear you had a good result on your first go. This will be my fourth attempt, and so although I know what to expect on an IVF cycle I have never had a monitored cycle prior to starting. I have also read from other users on ...

What to expect at ARGC

Hi there

I am hoping to have my first appointment at ARGC soon and as I don't live in London was wondering if anyone can share their experiences of the first appointment through to the treatment.

I have been told I will have an initial appointment with the doctor and then have a monitored cycle ...

Hi Susan

Thanks for replying again. I am definitely leaning towards the ARGC, I don't really care at this stage about bedside manner, I just want a result. I am 38, have been TTC for 10 years and never been pregnant. I'd be happy to have the consultation in the middle of the high street if that is ...

Hi Susan

Thanks so much for sharing your story with me. I'm so sorry to hear about your m/cs and I really wish you well with your FET.

I think my blood thinner was called Prednisolone.

How did they diagnose your endo? What tests did they do?
Also I am nervous about an IVIG, what are the risks ...

Any other people with Natural Killer Cells

Hello there,

After reading the thread on the NKC on this web site, after my first failed fresh and fet cycle I asked my doctor for the immunological testing. It came back with me positive for the NKC. Awful to say I was so relieved we had found something we could work on after not really having any ...

Dear Dory

I have only had one FET but all three of mine thawed and were safely transferred in. I since found after this I have an immunological disorder. However, I have always been of the belief FET's are actually stronger than fresh because if they can survive the defrost then you have strong ...
