MidwifeMom- When I was on Lupron, I had very little side effects (if any). However, I did get the odd headache. The only reason why I chimed in is I noticed that you took Motrin (Ibuprofen, Advil). It is not recommended while trying to grow eggs. It can affect egg quality (this is what my RE told me ...

Hey girl,

Doesn't sound like OHSS to me. Are you swollen near the bone near the breast or just your stomach? What supplements are you taking to support your IVF? I just got a BFP after my first IVF. I was so bloated after my transfer and still very much so. I weigh between 125-128 (5'7"). The other ...

Well today was my first ultrasound. There where 30+ follicles on each side. Now when I was there on CD 3 I had 10+ on each side before starting the stims (I have polycystic ovaries so there are always 8 or so on each). My feet are so swollen and have been since Saturday. I think it is fluid ...

In Toronto Canada if you have blocked tubes 60-70% of IVF is covered. The drugs you have to claim through benefits. If you have no coverage it is 4000-6000$ depending on where you go. The meds are 1500 to 2000$. If you have ICSI it is another 1000$.

Cheers

Hello Ladies, I am new here. I thought I would join in. I have recently been diagnosed with both tubes blocked. We were going to start this month but decided to delay because we have way too much going on this month. We start Lupron around the 25th July and then stimms in early August. Transfer ...

Hello Ladies!

This is my first post (okay second). I have been TTC naturally since last June and then with an RE in November 2005. I tried 5 cycles of Femara with trigger shots and no IUI just BD. My RE was a rip off and possible scammer. At least I think. Procedures like HSG that were covered by ...
