I too love the Ergo. I tried several others, including the Baby Bjiorn and the Maya Wrap. The Ergo is SO comfortable and easy.

Hi There,
My pediatrician told me "we don't believe in scheduling babies". They said it's not good for the baby and causes too much undue stress for the mother. They don't sleep through the night either and that sleeping through the night actually means sleeping for a 5 hour stretch. Knowing these ...

I'm so sorry - I didn't in anyway mean to sound harsh in my reply about the book. I do not have twins and can not imagine how hard that must be. Please understand I just was stating another option. I'm sorry if it came out the wrong way. we are all just doing our best...aren't we :?

I don't agree with the Babywise book. My pediatrician's practice also told me "we don't believe in scheduling babies". That's not to say not to give them a routine, routines are good for them. But, I have learned that feeding them on demand and meeting their needs when they need them is what tiny ...

Stop eating dairy and wheat!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick tip if you're breastfeeding - we had terrible screaming and crying problems with our son but I cut all dairy and wheat gluten out of my diet and he is a COMPLETELY different baby. He is calm and happy. No more reflux. It's amazing. It's not as difficult as it sounds either - I would do ...

Hi Michellyn8,
I found a very good website to ask questions, it is:

http://www.ivf.ca/Invision/

If you go to the section that says "Ask the Embryologist", you can put in a question and he usually answers it directly the next day. It's SO helpful!!! At my clinic (I'm in LA), they explained ...

Hi Bekkie,
I just read your post and am wondering if you have had an HSG test first, to see if your tubes are in fact blocked, before having the laproscopy. Once that test confirms if there is blockage or not, from my understanding, then they go forward with the laproscopsy, that's what happened in ...

Hi Everyone! I have wanted to post on here for such a long time but to be honest, I have had THE WORST nausea since last September, it has really knocked me out! I posted a while ago that I did get a BFP after our first IVF last August and then I sort of dissapeared because it has been so hard for ...

Hi again....okay, I also read that if you really want to do something for the hair than highlights are better than dye because they don't actually touch the scalp as much. But be sure to be in a well ventilated area. That's what I read. It can all get to be a lot I know and my gray hair is driving ...

Hi Toni,
I emailed a private message to you a while ago and I hope you got it! I really appreciate your concern about me and on this topic. Thankfully my husband will do whatever I/we decide together, he won't let his friends pressure us. I'm just feeling a bit worried about those first few weeks ...

Hi - I've actually read and heard that it's not a good idea to do either. The hair dye gets into your skin through your scalp and the chemicals then get into your blood system. The nail polishes/solvents have VOCs (Volatile Organic Compouonds) in them and they get into your system through smelling ...

Hi Toni,
You are the best! Thank you so much for your response and your encouragement to "do it my way", especially from someone with more than one! I guess this is what it's like to have a pushy mother in law (which I don't but if I did, this friend would be her!). I'm still trying to get through ...

Hi Pebbles (that's such a cute name!),
Thank you sooo much for your caring reply! I'm so glad to have the support of all of you on this board. Your wisdom is so valuable. I'm going to do what I feel is right and then buy some extra baby clothes (and maybe something new for myself) with all the money ...

Denise and Toni,
Thank you so much for your responses! I totally agree with both of you, somehow it just doesn't feel natural to me to have someone here at our home every night. My husband's friends are beeing really pushy about this and I'm so not ready to think about it yet (I'm only 13.5 weeks ...
