Thanks for your message. I am seeing Dr Nargund- is that who you saw? If so - what did you think of her / her set up? I had ovarian reserve scan the other day and have follow up appointment with her soon. Would like to know your story - why did you go for natural cycle? And what is the oestrogen ...

Natural Cycle IVF

Has anyone at all had any experience of this? No drugs required (or they can use mild stimulation.) Sounds like there are lots of pros but success rate per cycle is lower than normal IVF. However - you can do it every month and it's much cheaper... would be good to hear of anyone who has done this ...

Natural cycle IVF - Create health

Am just about to venture down this route - has anyone tried it / looked into it? Having had my first cycle at ARGC with full wack drugs and no success (3 v. poor quality eggs, none fertilised) the doctor at this clinic thinks mild or natural IVF might be the answer. My ovarian reserve is OK - one ...

sensationalist witch hunt

Blimey - they have really gone after him - for what?
1. he has earned a lot of money- not a crime
2. he offers a experimental treatment. Everyone there knows that and is fully informed of everything it entails.
3. The doctors discussed IVF with young women who had only been trying a year or 18 ...

Thanks for your help..
I'm 37 (DH 40). I thought ICSI was useful if there was a sperm problem and wouldn't be helpful for imature / bad eggs but I'll ask the doc at my follow up appt.

no - it was always going to be a possibility but when they saw the sample they said IVF would do the trick. They are sure it's 'an egg problem..'

Bad eggs?

Just had a result from 1st go at IVF - had 4 follicles - ER gave 3 eggs but all failed to fertilise. Embriologist said they looked a bit dark, what ever that means (moody?!).
Anyway - spoke to doctor today who was quite pessimistic. Said I might get better eggs next time but unlikely.
Have recovered ...
