selective reduction

Has anyone had to reduce a baby that was close to the cervix? If so, did this increase your chances of losing the whoe pregnancy?

Re: FET with 2 and 4 cell embryos

Thanks, ghost. Yes, they were frozen at 7 or 8 cells and, once thawed, were down to 4 and 2. Just seems like the wrong direction. Do they sometimes get put inside the ut and say, "Oh let me start to grow again?".

FET with 2 and 4 cell embryos

Has anyone had success with degenerating embryos. Ones that started higher and degenerated to 4 and 2 cells. I am not overly hopeful, as the 6 others in the batch died completely, but have to think that the clinic had some hope if they transferred them. Thanks.

Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all well. We had a baby boy on Jan. 1! I am so completely in love with him. I am in pain all over. Actually the breast pain has been bearable, but down under - train wreck. I know some of you have had c-sections. And that brings a whole other type of pain. For those of ...

Hi Ladies,

Congratulations to all of you that have had your babies. We are due on Jan. 1, but no news yet. Getting very anxious. I am 80% effaced, 2 cm. dilated, and have had the "bloody show" I believe, but it wasn't much of a show. Did any of you that have had theirs, have the "show" and how ...

Hi Ladies,

I am 33 weeks this week. All is still going well. I think about you all a lot, but just haven't checked in lately.

I have this weird feeling that I'm going to go early, but it's based on nothing except I can't imagine growing anymore.

Malinka - how do you know how much the baby ...

Rikirees - I'm so glad that Sarah is doing well.

I seem to have lost a little weight myself. Not sure why b/c I'm clearly growing.

Glad you are all passing your tests and getting more exact dates to look forward to.

Hi Ladies,

I've been so out of touch, but I've been thinking about all of you.

Rikirees - please let us know if you are having the c-section. I'm so glad you'll be holding her soon. I love the name Mara. Have a cousin named Ann-Mara.

Steph - could yoga help to get the baby in a different ...

Steph

I'm glad that your husband is doing OK. My husband developed a hernia skiing last year and it was really difficult seeing him recover from surgery.

Hi Ladies,

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well or resting so they can continue to do well.

Question - Rikirees mentioned "viability" recently. Out of curiosity: at what point does the baby reach viability technically?
