Hi everyone,

looks like everyone is progressing very nicely. It won't be long ladies and we'll be holding our bundle of joy!! yikkesss, I still have so much to do for the nursery.

Tans, that's great you're able to get 3D pictures. Everytime they try 3D for me, she's not in a good position or she has her hands and feet over her face. I feel the same way about that tax deduction  I'm encouraging sweet pea to be a good girl and come this year.

Noodle, my c-section is mainly because I had one with my twins and a little because of my diabetes. She said since I've had a great pregnancy she would consider a vaginal. She said once you have a c-section you run a risk of rupturing the scar doing vaginal birth. Since she said that I'm leaning toward c-section.

I have my appts tomorrow for NST and BPP I can't wait to see how much she weighs now. I'm very uncomfortable and have a lot of pressure in my lower abdomin she must be getting a lot bigger.

We did the hospital tour over the weekend and it was great...a lot of good information.

I'll post tomorrow.

Hi Tanya,

I was surprised to read that you were in the hospital. I hope everything continues to look good and don't get worst so you can go home Monday. I'm sure it's hard to be confined to one room, but hopefully not for long. Use this time to get some rest....soon you won't have the luxury :D

I went for my NST on Thursday and was almost sent to the hospital. The Dr. said the results didn't give him reassurance that everything was fine, but didn't show him that anything was wrong either. Luckly I had an appt. at my high risk Dr. after which was going to do a BPP so he didn't send me over. My specialist said everything was fine. I have to go back on Wednesday.

Hope all is well with everyone else. I'll post again before Turkey day.

Mattie

Tanya - Best wishes for lower liver enzyme levels so you and your babies can go home. If it turns out otherwise on Monday - Many blessings for a wonderful delivery of 2 sweet little angels. We are praying for you!

Mattie - Hope your NST and BPP went well. I'm sure your nursery will come out wonderful. We didn't have our DD's nursery done before she arrived but it worked out fine since she was in our room for the first 4 months. We are trying to get our soon to be new DD's room done soon since we will have our hands full with a 2 yr old toddler and a newborn :) Please keep us posted!

Noodle - I hope you are doing well and hope you get a lot of info out of your classes. We did the 5 week birth class the first time around. The reason we did the Refresher was to learn about the updates to security in the hospital which includes an additional arm/foot band for the babies, a GPS system that will trigger an alarm if the baby is near a door for more than 20-30 seconds and how much having the baby with us right after birth (rooming in) will be strongly encourged. They want the babies with the parents more than in the nursery so a labor nurse will now accompany the parents and babies after birth to their actual room and assist in getting them settled, breastfeeding, etc. These changes are a lot different than when we went through this before.

wannebeone - I hope you are doing great. Looking forward to your updates.

Malinka - I hope you and your babies are doing great! Keep us posted.

Rikirees - I hope baby Sarah is doing well! Keep us posted!

Jovigal - Hope you are doing well. Hope to hear from you soon.

My2LnT - Hope you are doing well too! Looking forward to your updates.

As for me - I had my 32 week checkup Thursday and our little DD is doing great. I did have a huge increase in my weight which suprised me but did not concern my OB. I've officialy hit the 20 lb mark. I only gained 17 lbs total with my first DD. I will start seeing my OB in 2 week intervals and then at 36 weeks I start the NST and weekly OB checkups. I can't believe we only have a couple of months (give or take) to go. I can't wait to get Christmas shopping done. I have to focus on our DD's 2nd birthday coming up on Dec 7th as well. I can't believe our beautiful & sweet little angel is going to be 2 - sniff sniff:)

I wish all of you lovely ladies and babies the very best! Take Care!

hi ladies, I hope everyone is doing great, yea we are on a home run lol:)

Tanya I am so sorry you are in a hospital, but w twins you never know what is going on... I hope everything will be fine, you are in a good hands, please keep us posted.

I am doing ok, started my NSTs twice a week, and 2 weeks appt at the OB. Still struggling on what to do, try to deliver vaginal or go for c section.

Nothing is ready, I feel like time flyes, but my I don't have my nursery set up yet, my baby shower in 2.5 weeks and I can barely move already.
But as strange as it sounds, I am really enjoying my pregnancy. Am I crazy????:)

sorry no personals, have to run, HUGS and happy holidays to all!!

Thank you Malinka
I am doing OK today. I posted the days happenings on my blog. Babies are good.

Christine
Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate it. I hope that they go down because if they dont I will have a hard time going through with it. I will try whatever I can to keep them in there. I will be bawling for sure. Happy and sad of course.

Glad that your appointment went well. 20 lbs is great girl! you have it made. I can't believe only 17 lbs with your first! Amazing! It is crazy that it is coming down to the wire already isnt it? I am amazed anyhow. Time is flying by. Unreal.

Mattie
Glad that the BPP turned out OK. I am glad that you didnt have to go into the hospital. It isnt a great deal of fun but I am making do. Trying to relax amongst the testing and blood drawn and contractions etc. Oh well...it is all for a good cause isnt it?

i hope that the rest of you are doing well.....

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I haven't been on, very busy. I found out yesterday that my fluid level is alittle high. Has anyone else had this? The Doctor says I should not worry but we all know how that goes.
I am scheduled for a C-section on December 20th instead of my due date of January 3rd, just to be on the safe side. Baby already weighs 5.5 lbs.
Hope you are all doing well.

Tanya,
How are you feeling? I am getting anxious. Are you going early? They said 5.5 is in the 50%. I thought that sounded big too, but they said average. Who knows. After 5 ivf'S I JUST WANT THIS BABY HERE AND HEALTHY.

hi ladies,

lisa said said she found out her fluid levels were high. how did the docs. diagnose that?

everything seems ok here. i have a rash that i freaked out about b/c the ob hadn't seen it before. doesn't itch - more like small, popped blood vessels. the derm. said it was spider angioma. i think i'm just looking for things to get nervous about. having definite trouble breathing, but i know that's par for the course.

thinking about all of you. when did tanya have her babies? congratulations!

Happy Holidays All...I can't believe we are all so close, some closer than others, I just hope I make it to my shower...DH is still working on getting the babies room done unfortunately he has to finish so much more first, LOL home ownership is such a joy and at this point I cannot help. My little Sydney is doing well, I wish I could get the DR to do another US so I could see her. I'm still working out daily and gaining weight daily....crazy!

wannabeone- a rash to add to the list huh....it's constantly something isn't it? I find a new skin tab or mole close to daily. At least the DR put your mind at ease.

Lisabella- nice to hear from you...12/20 is so close. How are your nerves? Have you made a "labor plan" out? I have mine completed, DH thinks I'm crazy for wanting to try labor without meds and that I want him to take pics....any thoughts?

TansRN- hope your babies are doing well, are you tired of lying around yet. I was down with cramping most of the day Friday and could barely stand it...couldn't seem to get comfortable, any problems with that?

Malinka- my big thought on vag or c delivery is that...and I'll side bar this with no medical reasoning is behind this, it's just my own loony brain....I will do everything to try and not have a c-section (unless babies at risk) due to the fact it took me so long to get preg, I don't want anything to risk not ever having th chance again. Not that they will cut something wrong, but......who's knows, I don't want to take the chance if at all possible. I also have been enjoying preg...on most days!

ChristineB- we have 2 more classes and enjoy them alot. The baby is inside of us, so we think of them basicaly day and night, the classes at least have DH focus on baby for 2 hours staight, not to say he's not involved or responsive, they are just not as close it it as we are.

MDTerry- how did your appointment go? I really want to know how big my baby is at this point...I'm pretty huge and it is mostly baby, mostly!

Rikirees- how's baby Sarah doing?

Jovigal & My2LnT- hope your both hanging in there!

Well there's my catch up, hope I didn't miss anyone! Christmas is so close, started shopping last week, but still feel far behind. Have vacation the week of the 10th so hoping to get all the rest done then.

Lisa
I am going in about a month early. My real due date is 1/24/08. I am having the section in 29 days on the 26th of Dec. I am so looking forward to meeting my babies. I know what you mean. It has been a long pregnancy of worry for them. I just want to hold them!

Wannabe
I didnt have them yet girl. I would like to but they need more cookin'!!! December 26th is the big birthday! I know what you mean about being able to breathe! It is getting harder by the day. They can measure the approx. amount of the fluid with an ultrasound. They do that with me when I get the biophysical profile done. Very interesting.

Noodle
No matter where I sit or stand or lay I am uncomfortable. I just want my body back so that I can physically function!!! LOL I am so excited about the upcoming dates of birth that is for sure. This is the hardest thing that I have ever been called to do....carry twins. I am usually a strong person but I have been crying all the time I just dont feel well.

I have an appt with the peri today at 4pm. I will get to see them and see what position they are laying in. That will be the good part. I am anxious to see them for real! I was told that even delivery at 35W4D at the hospital of choice I will need to leave the babies in the special care nursery for who knows how long. I was upset. You would think that someone would have told me this policy long before now. I was planning on taking them home with me but this wont be the case and I went nutty and was like I am not leaving without them!!! They have rooms that you can stay in and You bet I will be there. I am not leaving them. They monitor twins just to make sure that they do not have apnea and need a monitor. They also make sure they are gaining weight like they should. I hope that they will be home with me soon after birth. I want to get started with chapter 2 of this deal! I know it is a good plan to get them checked out but I just want to be informed of this. Good thing they didnt spring it on me I would have went totally preggo on them!!!!

Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all doing well. Hope you all enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving!

Tanya - Good luck at your checkup today. It's common to keep twins in the hospital when they come early. The doctors just want them in the best condition to make the big journey home. And if you are lucky it could be just a few days difference. Keep your chin up. You've done wonderfully!

Lisa - Glad to hear from you! 12/20 will be here before you know it! Got that hospital bag packed yet? Best of luck to you!

wannabeone- I hope you are doing great! That rash must be a pain. Lovely hormones to make us worry. I'm looking forward to the "lightening" period when the baby drops. Then the breathing should get a bit easier. Take care!

Malinka - I'm glad you are doing well. If I had a choice between vaginal or C-section I would opt for vaginal if possible mostly for the reason that the recovery is so much quicker and easier. I hope you enjoy your baby shower!

Mattie - I hope you are doing well. Please keep us posted.

Noodle - Glad you are doing well. I feel the same way - it seems everything that needs to get done in our house I can't help with. It's great you are still working out. That will benefit your recovery once your baby is born.

Jovigal & My2LnT - I hope you are doing well. Please keep us posted with updates!

Rikirees - I hope baby Sarah is doing well. Please send us updates!

As for me - doing just fine. I have my 34 week OB checkup on Thursday. I've been decorating for the holidays and getting ready for our daughter's 2nd Birthday. Finishing Christmas shopping so I can get everything wrapped soon. Our nursery furniture is being delivered on Dec 19th so we have some work to get done in the nursery before that happens.

Well take care ladies! I will update again once I get my appointment done. Take Care!
