Lindsey and meggs, I actually have found the PIO shots the easiest of all. Like julianna, I don't think I'd do them for fun if I didn't have to, but half the time I literally don't feel a thing. And having DH do them is actually nice- it makes him feel involved in the process, and I don't even have ...

Yay, snowseven!!! That is wonderful! Here's wishing you all the best for a successful pregnancy!

Lindsey, I am on both PIO shots and 1 suppository a day. I MUCH prefer the shots, since I barely feel them and they're clean and over right away. The suppositories are nasty and they leak out and stain ...

Jill, I think 7dpt is too early to tell. Apparently the embryos have a 5 or 6 day window to stick, so there's no telling when it will happen. And false negatives are very common from what I've read. So keep up the PMA and test again a day or two before your blood test!!

Lindsey, welcome to the ...

Hi everyone- great news!!! My beta was today and I'm pregnant!!! We are so thrilled!! And the HCG level is 686, so it could be twins- I'm scared to death they both stuck! But I am just so happy that it worked that even the possibility of twins can't phase me right now. Of course, we're not ...

ICSIgirl, I am so sorry for you. You have always been the most positive and cheerful poster on these forums and it's so unfair that this didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. But I know that you will bounce back after a while and that your time will come one of these days.

Hello ladies!

Congrats, Aliann!!! So glad to hear all your hunches and HPTs were correct, and all the best for a perfect, healthy pregnancy from here on out.

Jill and snowseven, welcome to the 2ww! And here's sending you lots of sticky baby dust. Cyclone and julianna, you'll be right there with us ...

Oh, kbat, how terrible! I'm so sorry for you. And I think others are right about finding a new clinic, even if you have to travel. I live outside DC and our RE has mentioned patients who fly in and out. And when I thought I might have to go on a short business trip in the middle of my stims, the ...

Hi everyone,

Yes, my belly has been swollen like I'm 4 months pregnant too, ever since I started the stims. I thought it would go away after stopping the stims and the ER, but it hasn't budged at all. My RE said it basically won't go away unless I don't get pregnant. So we just get 10 months of ...

kbat, that's fabulous!! 6 eggs is great! Will they do ICSI as originally planned? You should get good fertilization with that. What a relief after all that worry and bother last week!

And jill, congrats on your 15 embryos! You should have plenty to freeze for the future- you can probably keep going ...

Oh, RMSM, I'm so sorry. My heart is aching for you! And I also hope that you were in your DH's arms not too long after you posted. But julianna is right that the odds get better each time. When your doctors get back from vacation (and by the way, they have some nerve going away at the same time and ...

Hi there! So we transfered 2 beautiful 100-150 cell blasts on Saturday morning, and I'm now officially on the dreaded 2ww!! The ET was very easy- no different than the mock transfer. They gave me a valium beforehand and I didn't even realize the RE had inserted the embryos before it was all over. He ...

Hi there- if you want to read about my DH's and a few other guys' experiences with the biopsy, search this forum for a thread called DH is 53, or search for the username uncle1 That was a whole thread about male factor with lots of useful info.

And we have told our entire family and several close ...

Hello all,

kbat, how crazy that the story keeps changing! I'll still be thinking of you on Monday, whatever may come.

And I'll be thinking of you too, Jill. Sounds like you are doing great! I agree that the stim meds are the worst. The Menopur especially burned like fire every time. The PIO has ...

Hi there,

I'm in the middle of my 1st IVF/ICSI due to male factor right now, so I can't tell you if it will work yet or not. My DH had an accident many years ago that severed his vas deferens, so he basically has a vasectomy. His sperm count is 0. He had a testicular sperm aspiration, which yielded ...

kbat, I'm sorry to hear about the IUI. Although you may get lucky this time, what with all the drugs in your system to help things along. I will be hoping and praying for you. And in any case you are VERY lucky to have 6 IVFs covered by your insurance. If I had that I would definitely keep going and ...
