Thank you Cocoa. Your story shows just how much one can forgive...and how this act can bring better days.

I jad a tough week. Had some anger issues again. I presume it's b/c I had my pre-op testing this week and had to give blood just in case I would need a blood transfusion...what!!?? I have to ...

Hi everyone,

I don't usually post replies...I tend to hang out in the background. Well I decided to reply today. :)
My personal experience (for what it's worth) has not been good when it comes to telling the "fertility" story. When I began treatments a couple of years ago I took the honest approach ...

Hi Desperate,

You're not alone. My marriage has really taken a hit. I have even had moment where I thought leaving would be easier...but that's not the solution b/c I'm still in love with my husbund. We've just been dealt a crappy deal...for now.
Hang in there. We have even sought therapy ...

This is my story...

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on in well over a year. I've dealt with a lot (like all of us girls have) and fell into a rather deep low.
In a nut shell I took clomid for almost a year (with the odd month break here and there) and then proceeded to do an IVF in July/07 (failed) and another in Nov./07 ...

Thanks Desperado.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I have had some serious period cramps that started yesterday. This morning (11days after transfer) I begun to bleed. Not a heavy flow but spotting...a brownish and now pinky color...sorry for the details. I'm thinking it's too late for ...

Oh my gosh...Kimberly!! I'm crying right now. You have just given me a glimmer of hope.

I pray that the stupid hpt is wrong. It was one of those "you can test 4 days in advance"....so that's why I'm crushed.

But perhas there is hope....

Negative HPT - Devastated

I'm really upset. So upset that I left work to come home and just curl up in bed. I was so stupid....my clinic told me not to do a hpt...that the 21st of July is really the soonest to do a blood test to determine if my IVF was successful.
What do I do this morning? Yup..I took a hpt and it was ...

Transfer is done...now the wait

Congradulations Kerri!!!! :P

If I may ask, at what day did you take the HPT?

I had my transfer last Sunday. They transferred one 8 cell and one 10 cell embryo. I was told that the embryo's were near perfection but they did not give me a grade. I got a chance to look at them and I can honestly say ...

Egg Retreival

Hi Kerribell + Quinny...and everyone who took the time to answer

I got a call yesterday from the embyologist. All 4 of my eggs have fertilized. I'm thinking that this is a really good thing. I have my transfer today. They will only transfer 2 at this clinic.

Now to answer some of the ...

1st IVF - Only 4 eggs retrieved

I'm currently going through my 1st IVF cycle. Yester was the "retrieval" day. The embryologist...and I...was very suprised that there were only 4 eggs. I have to wait until tomorrow to know how many fertilized. I'm hoping 3....does this possible? B/c I produced so few eggs, does this mean that the ...
