I had my transfer last Sunday. They transferred one 8 cell and one 10 cell embryo. I was told that the embryo's were near perfection but they did not give me a grade. I got a chance to look at them and I can honestly say that I saw absolutely no fragmentation. I decided to freeze the other two which were at 6 and 8 cells resectively. I was told that 10 cells on day 3 is considered a strong embyo.
Now it's the wait. I go on July 21st for my blood test.
I'm just concerned though...b/c I have absolutely no side effects. I have heard all thses horror stories from the side efftcs of progestrone....
Chicory - it sounds like you got some good embies to transfer. I did my 1st hpt on Monday, which was 9dp3dt (9 days past 3 day transfer). So you plan on doing a hpt? Other than sore breasts, I have not really felt any bad side effects from the progesterone. I have had two shot that really hurt the next day, but other than that I haven't been really sore either. If you push on the injection site, it is sore. I'm like you, I've heard other ladies talk about how they have trouble sitting, etc. Maybe they are skinnier than me and the needle goes deeper into the muscle. Who knows, everybody reacts differently. I go tomorrow for my second beta.
I wish you the best of luck for a BFP. My only advice is to stay busy during the 2ww and try not to over-react to every twinge that you feel. I think our bodies take a while to get over the retrieval.
