I am so sorry for your sad news but thank you for sharing that with me. I am taking it positively that at least I do something. I can't believe the wait continues though!

Low postive pregnancy test - anyone else?

I've had my blood test and it's come back as reading low positive so I've either got late developing embryos or I've had one implanted but lost it. I've got to go back to the clinic on Tuesday but in the meantime I have to continue to take meds but I have such sore boobs I'm wearing a bra at night ...

I was so convinced, y'know? Absolutely sure I'd make it, done all the stuff I should (I had OHH in Sept last year so waited till June this year for ET).

I know 13 embees is great and I'm not taking that lightly esp since we can't afford another cycle from scratch. But today it feels like someone ...

Help after failed cycle

I've found out today that my first IVF cycle has failed. I've got to wait until 2nd Sept for a consultation at the clinic so I guess I have to wait for bleed? I feel so terribly lost about what to do and dreading facing the world.

I am certain that I want to go ahead with another cycle and keeping ...

Hi Kendra, I hope that you're feeling better now. It does sound like you have been through a similar experience to me. Like you, my treatment is on hold but please do take heart that you have done so well, be proud of what you have been through and I promise you will get better.

I was told that I ...

Hi baobao

I have good news, my consultant says that I can go tonight. I am allowed, since there was no ET, to take anti nausea tablets (I get travel sickness anyway  ) and just to rest and take it easy. He is certain that the amount of protein I've been having has upset my stomach so I've cut ...

Thanks Bean. I was ok but I think that the high protein diet is upsetting my stomach a lot this afternoon. I feel okish otherwise just very frustrated.

I have found out that I coudl delay our holiday until Sunday night which seems more favourable but I'll see what the hospital says tomorrow. Watch ...

I'll keep thinking of you. It's so fraught with difficulties but we've got to look after ourselves however much we want the transfer. Mine are in a freezer somwhere, it's the oddest feeling, I was upset that I was the only one at the ER not coming back on the Monday for the transfer but I know, from ...

Hi thanks for the advice. Of the 36 eggs, 17 were fertilized and have been frozen, we're looking at blasto rather than a straight ET but not for a few months so no baby geordie_chick too look after as yet - I am rather relived having felt disappointed when the clinic said they didn't want to take ...

Advice needed on OHSS

Hi, I have been suffering with OHSS prior to ET which was on 14th (36 eggs!) Yesterday I was in a lot of pain, my stomach bloated, nausea and cramping pains. A checkup at my clinic revealed nothing major wrong - some free fluid and my ovaries had some fluid in them. I was told to go home, rest, lots ...

Hi, I am suffering with mild to moderate OHSS at the moment. On 14th Sept my ET resulted in 36 eggs of which 17 have fertilised and have been frozen. The clinic I am at (Bourn in Cambridge UK) were adamant that it was not worth the risk of having the transfer since I was already OHSS prior to the ...

I am so glad I read this post. I have been sitting for about a hour quivering over my first go with the injection and felt so scared. I now realise I am human!

My husband is hopeless with needles so it's up to me to do this and feel very alone. I've managed it at last but need to check with the ...

Bit nervous because it seems that everyone knows each other on this thread already but I hope you don't mind a newbie.

I am starting my first round of treatment end Sept/beg October and just wanted to wish everyone else lots of luck.

Hello, just about to start treatment

Hi, finally progressed from infertility.net to this board and about to start 'sniffing' in two weeks and onto injections, pending another period in between.

I haven't been through ivf yet so not sure what to expect but after 10 years of trying/waiting on NHS we've saved up enough cash to go private ...
