Thanks for that valued advice Ghost - one further question - what is the difference between hatching and re-expanding?

Ghost - Undeveloping Blastocyst

Hi Ghost,

I hope you might shed some light on this for me. I was fortunate to have a BFP last September following my first IVF cycle. Sadly, I lost my little girl at 38 weeks in May - stillborn from the cord wrapping tightly around her neck. My OB told me that my two frozen blastocysts offered a ...

Hi Laura,

The honest answer is no, I didn't give a lot of things up. I figure that as long as you are healthy, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and laugh every day your body is getting what it needs. I have never been a big coffee, or alcohol drinker to be fair - I probably had one or two glasses ...

Hey Kelly,

Congratulations - keep us all posted on how your u/s goes. I too still don't have any real symptons, although I have started to get sore and heavier bb's now so that can only be a good sign :) I never thought I would be pleased to have sore bb's :D

I am due to take another blood test ...

Thanks Babyb,

I take great comfort from other people on this site, and I am thankful for each day that passes. My expected dd is 6/10/08, my brothers birthday. It would be such a joy for me to tell my family that I am pregnant and so I cling on to the hope that I can do just that at Christmas this ...

Hi Meggs,

You and I sound quite similar in beta no.s. My first beta was 64 - 10dp3dt and my second beta was 366 -14dp3dt. I too, have been told to stay on the pessaries for 10 weeks!

I was told by my RE that I am in a '25% bracket' and that as long as my beta does not fall I should be ok. I asked ...

Hi all,

I must admit that I have the cramping on and off, and I keep going to the bathroom because I think I have started my period. It totally stresses me out - the worry is overwhelming sometimes. IVF is a terrifying process - you think once past the BFP stage things will get easier, but worries ...

Ghost - advice on multivitamins please

Hi Ghost,

I am just over my 2WW with a BFP but as in most cases one worry has been replaced by another. My acupuncturist has suggested I take a multi-vitamin each day and the bottle she has suggested is a Global Enzyme multiplex plus. On the front of the bottle it directs to take two tablets three ...

Hey Debbie,

Yes - pretty similar to my experience then - I had sore bb's for the first few days with some cramping and then it stopped. I was quite concerned, but it just goes to show there is no definite answer to your 2WW symptons - we are all different. Good luck!

Hi Rudy,

I had my beta today - I am BFP! :D I was so shocked and I feel very blessed, this being my first IVF cycle and only having one ET (2 were frozen blasts). I had no real symptons of pregnancy and still don't - I do not have cramps, sore bb's or anything - the only real thing that I have ...

Hi Rudy,

I am also in the 2WW and have no symptons at all - not even sore bbs, but understand that every woman is different so I wouldn't take it as a good or a bad sign - just one of those things! The way I look at it, is that many women who discover they are pregnant weren't aware of their ...

Thanks Ali,

I have calmed down alot now. I am still convinced I am not BFP - I have absolutely no symptons whatsoever, so it will be a miracle if I am. I get a great deal of comfort reading the posts on this site. We are an amazing group of women with an enourmous amount of courage. There must be a ...

My friends I am in a mess and badly need some advice. I have been trying to conceive with my DH for well over ten years now - I am currently in the 2WW of my first IVF having waited patiently to have funding, and saving hard for private treatment if this time does not work out. I have succumbed ...
