Anyone else cramping still?

I'm 5 days away from my first U/S and I'm sick with worry. I had to buy an HPT tonight just to confirm that I'm still BFP. I used FRER and the pregnancy line was very dark and thick (whew). Funny, though, the control line was a bit lighter than normal (which freaked me for a second, but I think I might not have deposited enough on the stick to travel along to the control line (TMI -- lol)).

In any event, I keep having AF-like cramps and it concerns me a bit. These are different than the cramps I have had before (which felt like the ligaments around the uterus stretching). Anyone else experiencing this?

I had all sorts of funny pushing and pulling pains plus cramping.
Now I am 29 weeks and 4 days. I think you find its normal!

how far along are you?? i'm just over 10 weeks and am still getting period type pains now. although admittedly they have slowed down in the last week or so.

Hello laidies -

I am 18 weeks going to 19 weeks and I have been cramping throughout my whole pregancy. It really feels like I am starting my period they have actually slowed down a little but they are still there. My doctor said to really not worry unless the pain gets really bad to where I cant stand it anymore. He checked my baby, uterus, placenta everything you all can imagine and he said everything looks very normal. I know how it feels to freak out with things like this. This is our first baby and very first IVF try so I am really praying and having much FAITH that GOD helps us and takes care of us. I have heard many woman have had cramps thru out their whole pregancy and have had normal healthy babies.

Hi all,

I must admit that I have the cramping on and off, and I keep going to the bathroom because I think I have started my period. It totally stresses me out - the worry is overwhelming sometimes. IVF is a terrifying process - you think once past the BFP stage things will get easier, but worries are just replaced by new worries! My U/S is weeks off yet - I am waiting for my second beta number and we go from there. I pray to GOD that it will work out fine.

Hi all -- thanks for the feedback. I actually emailed my RE who advised me that these cramps are normal and not to worry. So, I can breathe for a moment. Can't wait until my US in a few days (Sun/Mon depending on whether my RE intends to come into the office on Sun).
