I started AF before my beta test during my first IVF cycle and was surprised as I thought that the Progesterone was supposed to keep it away? Anyhow....it was about 10 days after transfer I think? I remember having the hot flashes and cramps a few days before that though and I knew she was coming ...

My first cycle was the Lupron cycle and I had 7 retrieved, 5 fertilized and 3 transferred on day 3 (all 6 cell or less). It ended in a chemical.

I'm doing antagonist this time which I'm pumped about....because I won't have to do the Lupron and I really think that with my lower count on antral ...

I had an abnormal PAP in 2003 or so and my Gyne at the time decided to treat it with the cryo treatment. It wasn't fun....didn't really hurt but for weeks after I had horrible discharge (sorry if TMI). I would think that your RE would want to have a clean PAP before proceeding with treatment because ...

Yes, we were in the same study...most of those ladies have went on to have babies by now I think? I took a long long time deciding if I could go through this again after being so shocked the first time around. I can't imagine what you must have went through, so I know that your numbers now must make ...

I was in a progesterone study last year and it was testing Crinone versus a new ring form of progesterone. A few of the ladies in the study that had BFN's said that their RE's mentioned not seeing as many BFP's in the group that had the Crinone....although not really sure how they knew as it was ...

Ways to afford the medicines?

We've finally gotten to where we can do another cycle, but now the meds are going to be an issue. We changed to the antagonist protocol so I thought the meds would be around the same as last year...since we're losing Lupron but adding Ganirelix. I was WRONG. Last year when we did the study, the ...

During a regular sonogram to check follicles before beginning any meds the RE saw something that 'might' be polyps. She wanted me to wait till my next cycle was over to check again with a saline sono (day 9 of my cycle) so when I went in she said she saw a little bumpy area on the bottom of my ...

Possible Polyps?

I posted this as a follow up in my other post but wanted to start a new thread just in case someone might not read the other about Antagon.

Last month I went in and the RE said she thought she saw polyps. I went back after AF and she did a saline sono and said that it looked a bit bumpy but she ...

Thanks. Last time as I said I started with BCP's then went to Lupron (just one kit) and then went to Menopur and GonalF, then trigger shot and progesterone gel.

I still have 5 vials of Menopur left and about 200iu of Gonal F, but I was guessing I wouldn't get to use those...what does Antagon ...

Is antagon protocol more or less than Lupron?

My last cycle was a BFN (chemical) so my RE said she'd like to try antagon medicine this time. I'm thinking that is antagonist protocol....but the nurse if out of the office on Friday so my email to her asking this won't be answered till next week.

So is this a more expensive protocol? Why was I ...

My test results showed a scale from 0 to 6.9 I think? Mine came back at 2.9 and my RE said that was very reassuring? I think they must be using different charts or something as I saw one online that had a much higher scale to judge the results by.

I hope it's not as bad as your nurse led you to ...

From Resolve....seems it's not over!!!!

I just got this in my email from Resolve....seems it's coming right back up on Monday. I don't see this bill going away.....I think I'm going to start researching the clinics in the state on the other side of me....I can't afford to pay for an IVF and only have 2 eggs fertilized, that's crazy. I ...

Another person fixing to start my second cycle. The first one was a study cycle, and it turned out to be a BFN at BETA. I did have a Positive on day 7, 8 and 9 on a HPT though....so not really sure what happened. I never went back to the doctors for my follow up consult.....I was really really ...
