 :) Just an update! We go to panel on Wednesday! The team leader who came to do the "quality control" visit says that we have a strong case. AND in light of DH's illness the medical advisor has reccommended that we be matched with a child asap to enable us to bond as a family before DH needs ...

Hello and Welcome.

I've had two IVF/ICSI treatments and 3 DI treatments. I hope to be able to put your mind at rest! I had no side effects at all during my two IVF cycles - if I was a little bit weepy, it was because I was having negative thoughts, not because of the drugs.

I down regged with a ...

Thanks for your replies. I am going to hang on until Saturday, if I can. Although have woken with slight crampy sensations today, so may not have to wait that long.

How soon can I test?

I have had a natural DI treatment this cycle. My last insemination was Fri 2nd April and a scan on Sat 3rd revealed that I had ovulated. The clinic said it was usually about two weeks after that AF would or would not arrive. Does anyone know how soon can I do a test? The waiting is driving me mad!!!!

We live on the boarder of Northumberland and Gateshead. We are having treatment at the Centre for Life in Newcastle. I can't comment on any other clinic BUT the C 4 L have been fantastic with us. The nurses and doctors are so lovely, helpful, honest and don't care how many times I phone them with ...

Glad to see some positive results with DI.

We are on our second "natural" DI tmt.

I was inseminated on Monday and Tuesday but had ovulated by Wednesday. Does this seem normal to everyone? I am concerned that I've only been inseminated twice each tmt. It doesn't seem enough. and WHY won't they ...

70% chance

Hi Caz<br>DH has a kidney problem which made him have a low sperm count so we had ICSI with his frozen soperm. He was then treated, unsuccessfully, with chemo/steroid combination, this left him sterile. My eggs don't respond well to ICSI, they don't like being injected!! and frozen DH sperm not good ...

70% chance

We went to the clinic yesterday and saw the "head honcho" as my DH calls her. We are about to start DI having had 2 failed ICSI attempts with DH's sperm. The professor (head honcho) said that couples like us have a 70% chance of getting pregnant with DI. I thought I had misheard (ie was 70% of NOT ...

fragmented embryo

I am sorry to hear that you have been unsuccessful. I've has 2 ICSI cycles (both failed) and both times I was told that my embryos were fragmented. The first time I told that there was no reason for this and there was nothing I could have done to make a difference. The second time it was suggested ...
