Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Hi All - Well our IVF journey has come to an end, this last time was not successful. We transfered 2 embryos but neither took, which I figured would be the case since neither looked that great. Our RE is recommending that we not waste our money/time/emotions on another round, based on our previous 3 ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Hi All, it's been way too long! We've been incredibly busy already this year and just took Audrey on her first ski trip :) We go every year, but hadn't been since she was born. We had a blast, got to play in the snow, and decided that next year for sure she will get on the slopes with us! We took ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Hi Neffi - well we've been on a rollercoaster, but it finally came to an end on Friday and we've confirmed it's not a viable pregnancy. I'm 7 weeks along, but everything just quick growing. I go in for a D&C on Tuesday, so I'm ready to get that over with and start again. Once my body is back and ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Hi Dakota - we went through something similar about a month ago, but Audrey's seemed to settle down and is back to sleeping normal in her bed. She would not let us put her down at bedtime and was totally freaking out, so she slept with us a couple of times but it wasn't nearly what you're going ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Hi All - been a while since I've been on, life is just crazy these days. Started a new job a couple of months ago and working way too much. Still pick Audrey up by 4:30, but then start working again as soon as she goes to bed...the insanity has got to stop :) DH went to Europe on a business trip and ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Dakota - Nope, TX does not have mandatory coverage of IVF..in fact, most fertility coverage in our state is horrible. My company has a $3500 lifetime benefit (used that after 2 IUI's, which left nothing for the other 7 IUI's and 2 IVF's :)). Good luck though, his company may have great benefits ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Neffi - Yep, we have the same issue here. I sign at least 2 forms a week at Audrey's school for her biting other children or falling and smacking her head on something! DH would like to put her in a bubble, but I think it's just part of growing up. They'd rather run than walk and at least for Audrey ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Neffi - Excellent news about the possible adoption, I wish you guys the best of luck!!

Dakota - Great to hear Gracie is so much fun, this is such a great age! Audrey just had her 15 month shots last week, so I hope we don't go through the same thing. She's had about 14 double ear infections in her ...

Re: MY IVF JOURNEY HAS ENDED

Hi Steph - I'm so sorry to hear this last cycle did not work, but you're so right in that you've been blessed with little Jack and could not have received a better gift in life. Good luck to you and DH in your adoption process, I'm looking forward to seeing your growing family pictures posted on FB ...

Re: Diarrhea

cymplicity - That is horrible, I'm so sorry your little ones are going through so much! My DD has had diarrhea a couple of times, but mainly due to a stomach virus. Our pedi recommended Florastor, which is a probiatic. We get it at the pharmacy, and it's usually behind the counter for some reason ...

Re: Going for sibblings?

riogirl - thank you! We only had 7 follies, 6 eggs retrieved, and 4 mature, which all fertilized using ICSI. Your 6 follies will be great! Keeping my fingers crossed, best of luck, and I'll be thinking about you tomorrow!!

Re: Going for sibblings?

riogirl - We were also blessed with a beautiful baby in early 2009 and are now trying for a sibling. While it wasn't a tough decision on wanting a sibling for Audrey, it was a tough decision on going back for another round of IVF. We feel the same way as you, that we were so blessed with our DD and ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

Dakota - I'm happy to hear Gracie is doing so well, she sounds absolutely perfect!! :) They're just so damn cute that you just want to eat them up! Audrey is the same way about being outside, that's her favorite place to be! She stands at the front and back door and begs to go out. We had ET this ...

Re: Feb 2009 Moms

nwquiz - Good to hear from you, time does fly doesn't it?!? I'm happy to hear your DS is doing well and standing, won't be long now :)

Well we finally started Lupron yesterday, it's been a long couple of months getting ready with a couple of cysts, but now we're ready to get going. I'm hoping all ...
