I had one too. I was about 9 weeks along and the doctor gave my pregnancy a 50/50 chance. I bled for about a week (the first couple of days were fairly heavy) and the blood clot remained for another 4-5 weeks and then disappeared. My little angel was born full-term without any complications other ...

I just signed up at babies r us and if you like pampers you get one value pack free after purchasing 9, don't know if it helps! I find pampers expensive but so much softer than huggies. My bean gets his weewee red with huggies but not pampers...

I did the same thing with Babies R Us (wish I'd ...

Riogirl,
I'd also highly recommend getting a seat for the little one -- it's just so much safer if there's any turbulence, as well as for takeoff and landing. We're taking our soon-to-be 11 week old with us on Wednesday for two weeks in Jamaica to visit family. She's got her own seat.

You might ...

Em - What a beautiful family. As Sophie said, the boys look like a handful (but a really cute handful). Little Addison is beautiful. I hope things are going smoothly for you (I can't imagine life with twins and a newborn -- you are my hero!!)

Sophie - Thanks for the advice. I had read that getting ...

I was adamantly opposed to getting one but my ob and the nurse were pretty persistent. As others have posted, the immunity is passed to the baby in utero so that's what encouraged me to get the shot. It's been about two weeks and I've had no side effects yet.

Baylorbear,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It seems the doctor should have thoroughly discussed the risks with you before going forward with the treatment. My husband and I chose not to have the test because of the associated risks. I figured my pregnancy was risky enough and I was not going ...

Natasha,
I'm sorry to hear your news but I think in the long-run, you'll be thankful you waited to have the surgery. As Summerbaby indicated, the fibroids/cysts can affect your pregnancy. I had two fibroids identified during a HSG scan and the doctors suggested I have them removed. One was embedded ...

Hi Needlephobic. Like you, my husband has a needle phobia so I pretty much knew from the beginning that I would be self-injecting the progesterone. I didn't find it to be all that bad. The hardest part is getting the needle to break the skin -- I often found that some needles went in easily while ...

My doctor told me about one of his patients who asked if the DR would hurry up with her transfer procedure because she needed to get to the golf course for a round of golf (generally, all patients at the clinic I used are expected to be on bed rest for 2 days after the transfer). The patient went on ...
