Cla hang in there...
i have heard that sometime low hcg is fine just takes time. So VLP sounds good to me...why don't you read the 1st trimester thread on preg after tmt...they cover a lot of this low hcg stuff.

GOOD LUCK for a confirmation of a BFP on wed

love and mega Hugs to you sweetie

Well done Cla - I know you're not out of the woods yet but it is still possible. There's someone on the over 40 board who had a "so small you can barely notice" positive recently (I believe it was an HCG of 5) and things are starting to pick up. Good luck with your 5 day wait - it never ends does it?!

Cla - first of congratulations on your FLP!!!!! Secondly, I'm pretty certain that it'll be a late developer. HSG levels double every day so I would personally take another test before wednesday! (Probably tomorrow but that's me - I'm very impatient!) I'm sure it is NOT the right thing to do however!.

If I had the same results as you, i would be pretty confident that everything would be ok.

How many days after ET have you tested? Alot of places say 12 but some say 16 as the HCG levels can be variable. My friend has to wait until day 16 even though her frozen embryos were 3 days when transferred.

Good luck for wednesday although I'm sure we'll hear good news from you before then!

Cla,
Will tentatively add my Congratulations!
We were only offered blood tests as they are the most conclusive, but like everyone says, hang in there!
And maybe you can do an hpt every other day to reassure yourself that the line is growing stronger?

Hugs,
smita

Dear Cla,

I am going to say congrats!! I was speaking to a friend about the pee sticks as opposed to bloods. She told me that in the early weeks pee sticks are actually more sensitive than bloods so i think it is good news.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday

Hi Cla

A positive is better than a negative! Just remember that! I just hope that the wait is over for you soon and you get a much darker line on that stick in the next couple of days. Glad you've pushed your clinic to do some bloods. At least this way you will know.

Good luck

Many thanks for all your messages!

I did an hpt on sunday and it was negative. Purposely didn't buy one of those super sensitive digital ones as I wanted to do a couple and compare the darkness of the lines. But there weren't any. :( I don't have the greatest record with pee on sticks though (half the time they don't work  ) so I'll just wait now until Weds and see what the clinic say. The fat lady doesn't sing till then!!!!

Will keep you posted.
