Hi Saraid,

My wife had the exact same thing in Dec - Major OHSS. We were abroad and rang the clinic here back home as my wife was in a lot of discomfort, strange thing was this made them happy... yea errr happy that she was experienceing this. If this flares up after ET then its a very high chance that it's due to pregnancy and if its VERY BAD it could be due to more than 1 egg implanting :) Apparently this condition is severely worsened by the pregnancy hormone.

My wife looked like she was about 6 months gone too - It was quite funny! When she did get back and had her test it was a BFP!

I wish you the best of luck and in a VERY nice way hope you suffer the same fate as my wife lol :) :)

Saraid YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! CONGRATULATIONS! :) I KNEW you were preggy with those symptoms :)

Now there is good news and bad news hehe :D

The Good news is I reckon its gonna be twins :) cos our consultant said very severe cases of OHSS and a positve have high chances of multiples ;)

Bad news... My wife was told the OHSS would not go down fully until she was about 12 weeks :( Actually it went at about week 10 :) But I am sure you will be more than happy to cope with it seeing as your preggy :)

We are so pleased for you and wishing you all the best :)

Good luck with the scan :D

Big Congrats Saraid. I'm joining the OHSS crew now too! Although blood results back today mean I have escaped A&E for now...
Just take it extra easy and focus on those cheeky little embies tucked in there causing all this extra trouble! Enjoy the ride....

Best wishes,
Angela
