have i tested to early

hi there im new to this this is my second attempt at ivf the first time got a positive but misscarried the next day i do my test on friday but i have had spottig for the last 3 days done a test this morning and i came up negative could it still be a positive on friday and just test to early

Karina, I'd say yes it was too early although the spotting might not be a good sign. All kinds of things are seen on here. It also depends a little on what tmt you had, 2-4 day transfer/blastocycsts + what type of meds you might be on.

Hi Karina

Hold on in there. Spotting can also mean the embryo is embedding further into the lining of the womb. You can still get a positive.

Yes and you will understand why I tested 24 earlier then I should, I was bleeding and had period pains. I got a negative result then I was told by the clinic to test again th next day so I did and got a positive evil pee sticks get the better of us but hopefully you will get a nice positive result. I have a little boy now who is 2 and he is my world.

aaah Karina, I really hope its a BFP!! I'm testing saturday and I've just started bleeding about an hour ago. I feel awful and I dont expect it to be + on saturday, although michelle your post has given me some hope.
This happened last time and it was a negative.....
