EC delayed

Post by Kat »

Hi all
Had results of Wednesday blood test and oestradiol was 700 and it's supposed to be 800 so have had another blood test today to make sure it has gone up. Have 3 good sized follicles. EC now hopefully Weds 16th instead of Monday and ET hopefully on Friday, fingers crossed. Seems to keep being put back but am consoling myself with the fact that they have ordered me another cetrotide injection for Monday (they're paying)and they wouldn't do that at £150 if they didn't think it was worth carrying on, would they? Anyway am off work now and have planned shopping, sunbathing and haircut so at least I will look nice, if a little fat and puffy eyed....
Kat xx

Kat, please don't get too dishearted, the very same happened to me last week, but my levels were too high. Was supposed to have ec on Wednesday but had it yesterday instead, I was gutted too, as it is a constant waiting game, but had 16 eggs retrieved, and am now a very happy bunny!

These things happen for a reason, so look o the positive!

You plans sound exactly like mine, haircut and sunbathing, and the belly part is too - My tummy is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!

have a great weekend, and will be thinking of you on Monday!

D x

Thanks Dawn, am trying to be positive and taking one step at a time. Am now going a nice shade of lobster in the garden, which will of course turn a nice shade of golden brown and make me look slim and beautiful (maybe) !
love Kat xx
