Lisa, I will start short protocol as soon as AF appears! It never arrives when you want it to does it? (day 29 today) I also have my cards read. It's like going for counselling really, a great chance to talk about myself for an hour! Seriously, my 'lady' keeps telling me to relax and that she sees me with 2 children. Who knows?

I just wanted to check in with everyone. Sorry I haven't been around...my husband had a couple of days off and we were watching the first season of 24. It's addictive!

I go for my scan tomorrow. Everything is going well so far. No morning sickness...just fatigue and heartburn! I'll let you know how it goes.

Anna - AF has a way of not showing up when you want her....this cycle I was over 1 week late...I think due to the travel...but on the good side gave me extra time to downreg and get the LH under control. Doing some jigs for you in snowy Bavaria!

Charlie - think of the follies this way - usually each month your body produces just the one. Having 5 means you are 5 times more likely of producing an embryo! Pretty damn good if you ask me!
Souris - that applies to you as well! Glad Ec wasn't too painful. I know you had a hard time last time.
Lisa - My dp is very superstitious but WILL NOT let me read stars or anything!!! He has to cover his ears if anyones reads them out!!!! THATs sad!!!
Sue - I couldn't believe how quickly you get to ET on an unmedicated cycle. One minute you're looking for the surge and then "bang" it's there!
Amanda - Good luck for EC on Thursday!
Tracii - Hope the injections go well today!
Jen - posted you elsewhere, but enjoy tomorrow! Me and dp are ADDICTED to 24! The 5th series starts on Sunday - they had a taster last night and we are SO excited!!!! (That's VERY sad!!! We do have alife really!)

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is well and having loads of PMA.

Souris,
On my first IVF (which they tried to cancel but I wouldn't let them, long protocol) I only had 4 eggs retrieved out of a possible 7. They fertilised 3 out of 4 and put 2 back. I had a very strong positive pregancy test which the clinic later confirmed as also biochemical. Ok I lost the preg at 8 weeks but putting that aside, that was pretty good getting pregnant when the odds were against me. I think you will do it this time.

I'm having my day 9 scan tomorrow morning at 0740am. Quite nervous as I have felt nothing this cycle, no pains, nothing and I am worried that is because there's nothing much going on in there. I'll soon know!

Cla - I'm dying to hear if you get a positive but I am so sure you will. Good luck girl!

Hello Everyone!!!!!

First of all, I want to say congrtualtions to my friend who got a BFP yesterday after 4 attempts. (She had a bleed half way through so it must have been an implantation bleed - they really do happen!)

I had a scan today and endometrium is fine (8mm) so they take embies out of freezer tomorrow and will call me in the afternoon to let me know how they are doing. They will be transferred on Friday, assuming all goes well. (Fingers crossed!) Will let you know how it goes!

Nickimark - my mum only lives 3.5 hr train journey away but I am looking forward to seeing her!
Kelly H - finegrs crossed one of your embies makes it!
Sue e - No, I probably won't use name Souris now although I still think it sounds cool! (Blush!) Hope your FET is next week!!
Charlie - 7000 sounds like alot of money, was this a typing error?- I only paid £2350 for my full IVF cycle inc drugs. I called other clinics around West Midlands and they were all similar price. Have you 'shopped' around? Sorry to hear about your car and the cat, I though I was having a bad day until I read that!
Anna - jigging like crazy - but only until Friday, then it's bed rest for me so I will jig in my head!
Jen C - GOOD LUCK for tomorrows scan! Can't wait to hear about it! How exciting!!!!

Macca, and all the others, thank you so much for your support!

I am going to the clinic this morning to know how many/if there is any embies. I am so nervous, i am up since 3 this morning, i am really tired but cant go back to sleep... I think my heart is going to explode!!

So i will let you know later. If you dont hear from me for a couple of days, that will be a good sign as i will be in bed after the transfer.
