Hello everyone, like lolly it has taken me a long time to pluck up the courage to start typing but here i am eventually.
Just to introduce myself, my name is Nicola i am nearly 30, (in 7 days time to be precise). My DH is called Dean and he is 39yrs and i have a step son Sam who is 10yrs (sam lives with his mum but visits us regularly).
We have been TTC for 5 years, i have a spot of endreometreosis and my DH has a low sperm count and problems with motility and morpholgy. We were advised to try icsi, which in November 2002 we had our 1st attempt, it was when we were part way through this that i found this great website. Anyway we were unsuccessful but we had 4 frosties.
We have decided now that we are ready to try again and on 9th july i began taking the drugs for FET which i hope will take place in about 4 weeks. I should of started taking a nasal spray but appparently there is none countrywide, therefore i am injecting daily with suprefact, anyone else had this, it appearently shuts down my ovaries and then ill continue injecting until i have a period and then start taking some tablets as well as injecting.
Anyway i think im rambling now, nice to be finally here and good luck to all those on 2ww.

Hi Nicola & Welcome!!. Your story sounds very similar to ours, symptons wise. DH and I ttc since 1999. He has low count, poor morphology & motility and low numbers. Did ICSI in March - failed & no frosties. Did ICSI again and had ET 2 weeks ago and TODAY I have had a ++++++++++++ result and its the best feeling.

There was no nasal spray so I too injected suprefact and it was absolutely fine and has worked for us so I hope you follow suit!! I had an injector pen thing but didnt use it - it's easier just to inject straight in I thought cos the needle is so fine.

One thing I did this time that I didnt do last time was take 1 baby aspirin daily - who knows whether it makes any difference but a lot of girls think so. Best to check with your clinic of course before taking any medicines at all just to be on the safe side.

Best of Luck to you and your DH. Lots of Love - Jo.XX

[Edited by Jo Locker on 11-Jul-03 15:01]
