With regards to cycling again, my dr just waits for the next AF and away we go. Mind you the number of cysts I have had have meant that I couldn't continue, so maybe waiting is good?? I really don't know. Maybe because I am so old they want to crack on!! Good luck with whatever you decide.

I am still waiting for AF, it's day 29 with slight cramps but no sign. Fingers crossed

My little devil has decided to abort this "?@*&^%$£" AF cycle this month...I was at the homeopath today and have been given meds to re-balance whole system...Hope it all works and will jsut have to wait until next month to see

Hi ladies,

I made my appointment for consultation for Feb 15th. I talked to the nurse also and she tols me that it looks like we will be doing FET around the middle of APRIL.

It seems so afr away, but I guess that is the process.

I'm sorry that AF is not cooperating with you either!!

I am finishing up mine and have to wait til next month and then I will call the DR and after I ovulate (around March 17th ) we will start lupron and that will take me into APRIL.

I guess we are all playing the waiting game!!

hi Ladies, thanks for messages, much appreciated! I feel so stupid having a moan when there are ladies here who have so much more to contend with.

Jackie, I haven't waited long in between cycles of tmt.But haven't got to EC yet, just stuttered over meds , no follies and cysts. Each time I have waited a max of 2 periods. Good luck with your appt, the weeks will fly by, it will soon be April!

Jen, I am a teacher and it's half term tomorrow so will be spending the first part of the week de-stressing ( I have a massage booked for Monday)and the second half visiting my sister in Ireland (any bets on AF arriving while I am away and I miss my short protocol stim start???!!!)

Am feeling more positive if 'resigned ' today. What will be will be. PMA definitely on the up!!!
Hope you are OK. Af has messed you about, hopefully the meds will be out of your system soon and next AF is OK.

Do you know when is Rachel back?

Jackie...it will FLY by to April...only 1 more month really...Why don't you try and focus on using the time productively? It's helped me I have focused on good diet ,vitamins, relaxation ( de-stressing) and yoga as well as acupuncture and homeopathy....It sounds a lot but doing a little to help yourself does increase good mood and positive responses to tmt...
what do you think?


Anna- look positivly? can you not take 3-4 days woth of Gonal to ireland with you.... As the 1st week you really just coast with the drug and geta scan on day 5 or 7? Could you ask the clinic if they might do that? Glad to here that PMA is back..I am feeling better too! These homeopathic meds are really good for boosting energy and mood too! I have been hyper today and usually by thursday I am too tired to move from the TV!!! It sure feels good!!!!

I don't know when Rachel is back sorry! am sure shell pop in soon...HI rachel

Jen, thanks for tip about taking drugs with me. Do you think they would do that? I've always had a scan first to check for cysts before they will let me start. Anyway, it's really worth a try.

Jackie, have you considered getting a list of questions ready for the 15th? I am always useless during my appointments and get stressed out and upset. The idea of a list is great and really helped me....I wrote them, dh asked them!

Have either of you tried reflexology? It's my favourite! Didn't pluck up the courage to do acupuncture. My sister is a trained reflexologist and I find I can relax more as she knows me and my situation. It means I don't have to explain it all to a stranger

Anyway, it's half term and I am a very happy bunny. Got loads planned including quality time with my other half!!

About stimming : I know you usually have a scan first but hey! It be okay if you start stimming cause you don't cetrotide until day 8 ( from stimming) and it shouldn't be a problem...i would deffo ask them! also to get tots of reflexology..god on ya! I think it's wonderful...sorer than acupuncture but helpful too!

I am shattered tonight so having an early one...It's only 7.45pm and i could sleep...Yawn!!!!

I talked to my girlfriend that is doing IVF again. She switched clinics so I am excited to see how it goes. This is her 3rd time.

That may be something to look into for me.

jackie, so sorry that it didn't work out this time but glad to hear you're feeling positive and focusing on round two. i know it's difficult, especially with your sisters pregnant, but you'll get there. have you always cycled at the same clinic?

jen, how did your consultant's appointment go???? (haven't read the other threads yet). i see you're on AF alert so it must have been good news, right?? i'll start jigging straight away for you!! hope you had a good sleep, you must be working too hard.....

anna, enjoy half term! pamper yourself loads because you deserve it. where are you going in ireland? when is AF due? i really hope it stays true to form and you'll be back before it arrives. it would make things a lot simpler. let us know what you clinic says about starting while away. i suppose it also depends on how long you'll be there. don't know how your clinic works but mine, unlike jen's, has you in for scans every second day on the short protocol. i suppose if needs be they could extend it, i guess they just want to be on the safe side. if you are going to dublin you could have the initial scan privately. i did one once when i was home at very short notice and it cost about 100 euro. but you may not want to wait around hospitals while you're supposed to be relaxing. just a thought.
anyway, i won't start jigging for you until you get back!


i'm just back from dublin and it only rained once during the whole week. it was great seeing family and friends. and i also saw ralph fiennes in the flesh! he has truly got the most beautiful, intense, sexy eyes. i went weak at the knees!! of course i tried to play it cool but god only knows what expression i had on my face when he looked straight into my eyes. i can feel my knees going again just thinking about it..........

skiing in austria was also great. it was pure relax time and we didn't discuss ivf even once. it was good to get a break, i think both me and dh really needed it. now i feel ready to get back on the rollercoaster.
