Hi everyone,

Firstly congratulations to all the BFP's, I'm so happy for all of you. Its a dream come true.

Sorry for any of the BFN's, sorry this wasnt your time, and I wish you all the best for what the future holds.

Apologies that I havent been on the board in a while, I've had a bereavement in the family. The funeral was on Friday.

I also have some bad news. i started to spot on friday, ever so lightly and brown. On Saturday morning (yesterday) I had stomach cramps and the brown spotting became heavier.

I rang the unit and they saif they cannot say either way. We dont blood test at ours, we do a HPT on day 17 after ET. The nurse said i could test today, but wait for Monday 13th if I could. I tested this morning and it was a BFN. I'm gutteed, it was all going so well, 22 eggs, 16 fertilized, 1 put back, 12 frosties. I just thank god I've got some frosties to try again.

am going to test tomorrow, just to put my mind at ease, they said at the hospital that tomorrow will be the more accurate result, although in my mind I already know it.

I think i read somewhere on the board that red blood is a bad sign and brown can go either way....??? So confused at the moment.

I'm going to discuss having 2 embryos put back next time as they only put one back this time. This was due to a miscarriage about 9 years ago by a natural pregnancy.

I will post agin tomorrow with my official results, although I already know it will be BFN.

Take care.

Hiya all,

Hugs to all BFN,
You Feb BFP ladies are really rockin the board. Hope all well with all.

Me joinin u with great apprehension (due to past history).
Had an FET with 3 embies on 7th Feb. Results on 18th.

Also pls allow me a few dumb questions.

Did the BFP 's have sore BB's (no i dont have them) ,cramping (has reduced today as compared to the first 3 days). or any other symptom.

Did any of the BFP's have no symptom/

I assume all over here avoid caffeine. Me apprehensive of even decaff coffee which says 99.7% caffeine free. Is that ok.

To all the bed rest ladies. are u horizontal all the time when in bed or twist urself to a comfortable position.

thanks

Hi Ash,

It doesnt matter f you sleep horizontal or anyway. Infact, I had my first IVF in india. After 2 days of rest , I travelled in the train to reach to my place and the train was literally rocking, shaking so much that my stomach twisted and turned like anything. you know how it is. I thought train would be safer but i had the worst experience. I thought, it was the end and I had given up hopes totally. During 2 WW I did not have cramps or anything. Sore boobs too reduced after a couple of days and then I went for blood test and guess....IT was BFP. Its another thing I had miscarriage later. But, it doesnt really depend on these factors as to my experience. If it has to work, it will anyways. Ya, just for our satisfactions, all the precautions need to be taken...you never know...right??

Hi Ash - In regards to decaf coffee....I have read this is just as bad for you due to the chemicals. How about some herbal tea? I gave up all caffeine and now have a closet full of herbal and fruit teas :D

Hi Ash,

I also heard that de caf is bad for you. Please stay away from that and have some herbal tea.

Sophie
Good luck to you and your embies. I hope they are snuggling away and making a home for the next 9 months.

Mary Jane and Kelly
Good luck for your test tomorrow. I hope to see a BFP!!
