Thanks Sandra for your PMA. I am normally a very positive girl but
I guess this is just taking it's toll. I am really hoping for better results on Saturday.

Hi everyone

Just logging in quickly after quite a while away. ET was finally done on 1 Feb but then I developed OHSS and had to spend 5 days in hospital. I'm fine now but it was quite a shock and soooo painful. I hope it'll all be worth it though :) Test date is 15 Feb.

Looking forward to catching up with all your news once I'm back at work. It seems so much has happened and it'll take me a while to get updated again. Just read your sad news Caroline - my heart really goes out to you. Please care of yourself.

Eminde xx

Welcome back Eminde!! I am sure you are being covered in nice, white baby dust right now!! We are getting a ton of snow in Bavaria...it has been crazy.

I am on day 3 of stims - and I can feel my ovaries working. I am really anxious for the u/s on Tuesday. I went to acu yesterday and had the most needles ever...to help with blood flow to uterus, relaxation, headaches and I haven't been sleeping well. I must have looked like a pin cushion. Needless to say I did sleep well last night :D I have also been taking 100mg aspirin (prescribed by doc) to also help with egg quality.

I wish everyone a great weekend 8)

Hi girls, just popping in to say hello. Looks like most everyone's cycles are moving along well. I started my Lupron shots today and will start Follistim on Sunday. I'll be taking a high dose, 225 IU twice per day due to my high FSH. I'll be back in the clinic next Friday for my first scan to check for follies! :D

Tracii, can't wait to hear how many you have stimming on Tuesday. Good luck with that!

I'm as excited for everyone else as I am myself. :) Keep the updates coming ladies!

Thank you for the encouragement. Much of the lifestyle change had happened b4 the first IVF. The only knew thing is the acupuncture. To put Jen's mind at ease, it does not really hurt. Actually, I find it to be quite relaxing. Your really don't notice the needles, they have soothing music playing, turn down the lights, etc. For me it is a mid day nap. After my last session, though, I did have a major bruise on my abdomen,. But, again, it did not hurt at all. From what I have read, acupuncture helps to regulate the hormones and doubles the success rate for IVF, especially when done the day of the transfer. My husband thinks it is a little hokey, but just lets me do my thing.

I think most of you are pretty lucky as your doctors share your levels with you. After each blood test, I am either told to up or down medication, but through my last cycle was never really told the results of my blood tests.

ShellBell, you and I must be on the same schedule. I am also starting my follistem on Sunday at 250, only once a day. My first blood test will be on Tuesday.

Traci - good luck with your tests on Tuesday : )

Prayers for everyone,

Michelle (mbelle1019)

Hi Hayley,

I am having EC on Tuesday and ET on Thursday. Maybe we might be both lucky to have BFP. Lucky you with the 28 follies. I only have 7 but fingers crossed.

Tracii,

Maybe you should try peppermint tea. It works for me if I get constipated and it kills the bloating. I drink one everyday and about 5 green teas and I have had no bloating or anything on this IVF.

Hi Girls ,

Count me in!!!!
I started down reg. on Thurs 9th Feb.

This is our 5th attempt at ivf. 2 fresh, 2 frozen. We are at a new hospital with a few new methods and drugs so fingers crossed.

I don't feel anything at the mo. not nervous or excited, just blank really. After so many tries and building myself up to be knocked back down it seems easier to remain neutral.

I haven't been through all the posts but GOOD LUCK EVERYONE xx
I did read someone say, shout out -I will be pregnant !every morning and it made me giggle because I have a note near my meds. saying P.M.A to remind myself.

Not sure of any other dates yet. Keep watching you ladies with hope x
