Sharoninsomerset - I too am at Bristol Clinic

Post by sharoninsomerset »

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for contacting me. Yes, I have most of my treatment in Musgrove (Taunton) but it is all run by Bristol Repro and I have EC and ET there. It was my 2nd go at IVF. While I was there having EC this time then spotted that I had a condition called Hydrosalpinx which is fluid in the tubes and is toxic to the embryos. So I'll have to have tubes clipped or something before starting IVF again and then should have more of a chance next time. Not sure how long recovery/waiting lists are yet but hope to go again in October.

So you live in Bristol?
Sharon x
me 38 DH 47 - TTC - 3.5 years - tubal infertility
4 failed IVF cycles - 1 abandoned
Found to have raised FSH when going for 5th cycle
Now looking at adoption
Let the new adventure start!
