Hi girlies :D

been off the PC a bit as was feeling queasy again and had neck problems - not acute, but it seems whenevr I try and do anyhting like pc, writing, ironing my whole shoulders and neck cramp up. Had the go ahead from the gynea to start gentle swimming, so need to get my bum out of the door and do that which will help.

So great that we have all made it over together :D :D :D :D

I bought maternity clothes too - actually they are far less frumpy than buying big clothes. We have H&M here which is trendy and a good price - with a long jumper the jeans and cargo trousers look quite slick 8) they don't have elasticated waits, they have a big broad band of stretch cotton that goes from the hip to above the bump (like under your boobs) so they accomodate the hippy bit too....they even do denim mini skirts with maternity panels   I don't think so, not now my knees look like dumplings

Denise - glad your puking is easing off, I just wish I wanted to eat - I get hungry then think YUK whatever I think of for food. I get something down of course, but all my dreams of museli and nuts are out the window :wink: lime jiuce is my fave at the mo, with ice cubes yum! How can you be a fraud when you have two babies in there??? your poor bod is working twice as hard as ours so you deserve extra {{{{{HUGS}}}}

Lav - glad to see you are OK and well done on the bump :D You can also get good stuff online - in Germany we have bellybutton.de - don't know if they are international??? I am on my second set of maternity bras  the germnans are very big on looking after boobies, and now mine have gone up to a 40D   (started at 36B) blimey. I have to waer the bra in bed or else I wake myself up turning over :D :D anyone else with boob explosion????

Caroline - hiya, agree about frumpy big clothes, and big non-,aternity jumpers are too short at the front so end up flapping in the wind like tents!!! like the sound of your melon, mine is just like a big splodge of fat as I have put on water verywhere (I guess compared to the menopausal dried up skinny prune look!!), when I stand up it's quite respectable, but lying down it just oozes all over the place.

My sister was HUGE when pg, so I expect I will be, Oh well sweetie will have lots of space to play then :D :D

Another scan tonmorrow, and official nuchal scan results. good news, I am off the meds now :D :D just taking 300mg ultrogestan to week 16 to be sure, but my oestrogen and progesterone values were sky hihg, so thankf for the support during that trauma, all seems well.

big hugs and kisses to all

Big J - I upped the dose of my morning sickness pill a little and seem to be getting better control of the puking, thank goodness. I still have not gained any weight and actually dropped from a large maternity size to a medium, with the bump growing at quite the rate!! DH was bugging me today - asking if I'm 8 mths along!

Anyone heard from BelB lately? Just wondering how she's been getting along. 2 more weeks to go until we get our next scan - yeah!!

Just on the side, found out last week I may be going on strike next week - fun stuff. 14 wks pg with twins walking a friggen picket line in the middle of winter!

Caroline, Lavendar, hope you all are well, or as well as can be.

Hi Denise

hahahahahhaa :D :D :D I like the idea of you and your big belly on a picket line - that should make headlines!!!! Just make sure you have your thermals on  Glad you are feeling better..

No haven't heard from belB?????? are you Ok dear???

I too have lost weight - weigh now the same as just after ICSI  doc says not to worry as sweetie is now 9cm (bum to head) and shwoing 14+6 officially - I know I am not eating enough, just don't fancy it. Am trying baked beans in tomato sauce on wholemeal bread as a semi-healthy compromise, The thought of vegetables  and still on the fruit salad with lts of lemon and lime juice and guess what - I have a sore bum  (sorry tmi) but the one thing I am NOT is constipated!

Nuchal scan stats were good 1:738 and 1: 884 - gets weighted by me, donor, and the ICSI factor apparently, anyway gynae is very pleased with all bloods and measurements which she says are more important than the end statistic. Sweetie seems to be thriving so I am happy with that. Soo glad Denise that you get another scan soon - you will be amazed at the change, I am gob-smacked each week. next week havbe another, then go on to 2- week scans - OMG I hope I can cope!!

Got a great goodie bag from the doc today - lots of magazines and info (lots of promo stuff but it's great reading) and lots of free vits and things. What a nice idea :D

Gping to lie down now, been on too long already

hugs to Caroline and Lav too

Hi Guys,

Lovely that you were asking about me..bought a wee tear to my eye!! (I am terribly emotional at present I've gotta say!!). We are going well, 11 weeks on Saturday, so not ready for the second trimester thread yet. I'm such a scaredy cat, I do "lurk" and read the first and second tri threads regularly, but too scared to post until I get through the nuchal fold scan..I had an ob visit today, hear the heart rate, 160bpm, so good and healthy.

Take care all, one day I WILL post over here!!! :D

Hi
I haven't posted in awhile, I've been horribly sick, I think it's beginning to calm down.
I decided to post here cause I guess I am now in 2nd tirmester.
Nice to see you here Denise and Lavender.
Going for another scan on Wednesday, hope I will be able to see mre than the last scan, I took my son last time and he said it looked like a peanut so I am hoping to show him a little more.

Hey Chrissy!

Good to hear from you! Did you figure out who your OB is going to be yet?

I've been so sick too. The Doc prescribed Diclectin - its a vit B with an anti histamine, and it seems to be helping alot. Still puking a little, but better than puking alot I guess :?

I go for my next scan Feb 27, so its coming quickly too!! Good luck with everything, let us know how it goes.

Hi all

May I join in? I am 13.5 weeks with twins :)

Did anyone still have sore boobs at 13.5 weeks?

At the moment I am on Prednisolone, Cyclogest and Pyrognova and stop taking them soon in about a week. I really want to take these till 16 weeks just to be sure - What did you guys do?

Dear Mandy

I just wanted to let you know that I felt really down and was supremely bad tempered throughout the whole of first trimester and some of second (in fact I am still a bit grumpy now but not nearly as bad - although DH might disagree!).
I'm not sure there is anything to be done about it - just sit it out. I felt a lot less depressed early in the second trimester which I was very relieved about as I couldn't understamd how I could be depressed when I should be SO happy - really confusing and annoying but it does wear off - I'm sure it's just the hormones. Hope your feeling better soon Love Vicky.

hi ladies :D

just tipped my lim jiuce all over my mouse when I read Debras (40+ Debra) BFP news, so bl**dy mouse has died and I am on dh puter with german (gaming) keyboard - typing worse than usual Grrrr..

I have made a list as my "pregnancy head" is having a hard job keeping up here - hope it,s helpful, thought we could just copy paste and add/update ourselves....

Caroline (Carbev) -
Lavendar -
Jules (big J) - EDD 15/08 next scan 21/02 still reducing meds
DeniseM - IUI Twins next scan 27/02
Chrissy 4 -
Jen (Divinagracia) - Twins
Mandyb-

just wanted to say to Jen (is yours a donor cycle too???)- I am still reducing meds, started at week 13, reduced oestrogen first, then progesterone slowly. I am also on methyprednisolone (4mg) and aspirin (100mg) but am not going to reduce those in 2nd tri (I have hashimotos thyroiditis, autoimmune problems possible). I paid for oestrogen and progesterone blood tests to be done weekly as I am soooooooooo paranoid. I compared these results with normal curves from Dr Beer as the gynae had no idea what normal was (!). At first my progesterone was way over normal, no having taken only 300mg Ultrogestan (pessaries) it has dropped from 90 to 50, I had a heart attack today (that's the result from the bloods from last Wednesday), but the 50 is actually normal for 18 weeks pg as as I am only 15 weeks the doc said no worried this is just my body adjusting to normal physiological levels, I had another test today to be sure!!!! Oestrogen was no probs, and has risen steadily since stopping meds. If you want the charts and reduction protcol just pm me your email addres and I´ll send it to you, progesterone chart via ww.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html I won,t be reducing the final progesterone dose until after week 16 and until I have the blood results back which wont be til Thursday or Friday.

btw - boobs getting bigger and more tender by the day, bu that,s not a surprise when you look at the oestrogena nd progesterone curves - basically bopth increase the whole time, so I gues that's a good sign thne Jen :D

I am grumpy and depressed and tearful and very sensitive/hyper reactive - I started accupuncture for depression and mood swings with my gynae today, see what that brings so I do sympathise

anyway, welcome to all of you just joining us over here, you are very brave, and we have only been here for a week! I am sorry if I have missed anyone and most particularly the establishes 2nd Triers, I am hopeless at the moment

biggest hugs and prayers for all of us and our little ones

Hi girls. Beginning to poke my head through here now. 13 weeks today. :D

When do you actually feel the baby move? I ask because this morning I was laying in bed debating whether to get out of bed or not when I felt 3 "prods" in the belly. I was confused and surprised. I never felt that before so I'm wondering if it is baby, though it is too early to actually feel baby move.

I hope baby does it againg soon.

Hi, ladies :) So sorry I haven't checked in in a while. There are a lot of new ladies in the 2nd tri now. So, congrats to all of you...I remember how great it felt to reach that point. :D I guess I have about a week to go until I am in the 3rd tri, which seems unbelievable. Time is going so fast!

I have had a really easy great pregnancy so I shouldn't complain. I guess I am just at the point now where my belly is getting big enough that I have a lot of back pain. You know how they say your ligaments will be more flexible and fragile due to the hormone relaxin? Well, believe it. I can barely stand on one leg anymore and it feels as though it is going to pop out of joint. It's very strange!

How about everyone else...how are you feeling?
