2 week wait-hows everyone?

Hi Just wanted to know how everyones is who's on the dreaded 2 weeks wait. I've got 3 days to go,very nervous I just want to know either way now. A HUGE GOODLUCK TO EVERYONE Love Gem xx

Hiah gem, I`m on my 2ww also. my first attempt at IVF. I`ve got another 10 days to go for my results and I found the first couple of days awful. Since then I think I`ve settled into a routine and have found a happy balance between R & R and keeping busy. I`m suffering from a lot of bloating and discomfort, but I`m drinking tons of water as I know that seems to help. So, be cool and get yourself out in the sun while it lasts. Good Luck

hello gem and clare, not long left for you now gem! a bit longer for you though clare, are you still climbing those walls? (silly question really!) Where is everbody else at now? I think theres a few to start their 2ww Wednesdayish! Dawn and Alison and Kat, are you due for et's Wednesday? Im supposed to be Friday but I think they are talking about bringing it forward to Wedneday. (I hope, as I already have 34 follies all between 12 and 17mm, feel like poo!) What about jo(m) where abouts are you up to now? Its gets so confusing trying keep tabs on everybodies cycles!especially if you dont log on for a few of days. I hope Ive not left anyone out, if so, let me know! all the best gem and clare and everyone else whose on those 2weeks which feel like 2 months, wherever you may be! kathryn x

Hi Kathryn, my EC was delayed (oestradiol too low) but hopefully will be Weds and ET Friday so will soon be joining the 2ww-ers. Am feeling very positive today - must be the sunshine and the fact I don't have to go to work tomorrow - hurrah! Dawn - are you still feeling sick & horrible? Hope you've managed to do some sunbathing now - it's SO HOT out there! hi kat, sorry, I had read your post about ec being put back to wednesday, got in a stupid muddle! Im hoping thats when Ill have ec too, but they are now talking about coasting me untill friday, so the Dr doesnt have to come in just for one ec on wednesday! Apparently he has already got 3 ec for friday, and hed like to do them in one day!I'll know later when ive got my scan. Its horrible when things get put back, this ivf process is long enough without things getting put back. Days seem like weeks and weeks seem like months! I hope all goes well for you for wednesday,and Ill see you as a 2ww'er! kathryn x are you known as Kat or Kathryn? gem and clare, thats another day down for you!

Hi everyone I'm a 2wwer or also. I'm going to be testing on 22nd July (day my period is due) although 23rd is 2 weeks after transfer. I'm just wishing it was this time next week. Can't believe I've got over a week to go. Although last time I wasn't suppose to test till the Thurs and testing on the Sunday before and got a positive (had a miscarriage) and the time before I was suppose to test on a Wed and tested the Monday night before and got a positive (twin boys 22 months old). So how long I'll last before testing I don't know. I've been thinking about you Gem, I went to a Christening yesterday and was thinking to myself how I wished I was were you are know with only a few days left. Are these the test dates then Gem 16th julie m 18th Jen 20th Clare 22nd Kate 23rd (but doing it 22nd)

Hi Kathryn, can't believe they've put you back just so the Dr doesn't have to bother doing any work! I have scan this afternoon and another cetrotide injection, and keeping everything crossed there will be something there to collect on Weds. I'll let you know later Love Kat xx PS I have always been a Kathryn until someone at work started calling me Kat so everyone at work now does too. Hi Gem, Just logged on this evening and wanted to wish you you all the luck in the world for tomorrow. I'm thinking of you and am keeping everything crossed for you. I'm waiting for my AF to arrive (should be tomorrow, but with my cycle, who knows!!!) and then I can start my first IVF cycle, so I'll be in exactly the same position as you in the next 5 weeks or so, hopefully if everything goes OK. Good luck again and try to have a relaxing evening - easier said than done, I know!! Lots of love and encouragement, Jo xx

Hi everyone THANK YOU so much for all good luck wishes. We are so nervous I've had a negative day today,thinking that its going to fail,i've kept having a bit of pain low down in my tummy,which have got me convinced that its peroid pains,but I've just read Jo's message saying that she still had pains and shes got a positive so that given me strength and hope-so thanks Jo. I will let you know tomorrow what the result is,I go for a blood test in morning then we phone up at 2 for results-tomorrows going to be a long day! Goodluck to everyone Love Gem xx

Seems like it is a big week this week, what with results, ec's, et's etc - these doctors must be raking it in!!! Thinking of you all, and hope the dates you have been given for EC are still on schedule, the waiting is horrendous isn't it!? Lots and lots and lots and lots (get the idea) of luck to each and every one of you - especially for Gem today, roll on 2pm - I thought you would be doing the hpt - so more waiting, what a nightmare - +++ thinking OK!
