Hi all,

Had EC yesterday 7 eggs from 7 follies. Only 5 suitable for injection. Only 2 fertilised. Very worried that they will not survive the night tonight. ET is at 0945 tomorrow morning, subject to embryo survival.
This is probably our last try at IVF so I literally have all my eggs in one basket. Sorry about the lack of PMA

Anna, sorry to hear about AF. Some of the clinics are rubbish, they tell you nothing. My one (MFS Manchester) tells nothing, no advise good or bad. In fact they are relunctant to say anything, it's like they are afraid you will sue them or something, when all we are looking for is a bit of guidance and compassion.

Eminde,
Sorry to hear your news. It is great though that you can start again so soon with FET. Best of luck.

Heather,
Good luck with your scan.

Tracii,
Hope things improve as the lift up the stimming dose.

Lynne,
Sorry to hear your bad news

Charlie & Richard,
Well done on the ET.

Sorry if I have missed anyone off.

Hi all, well i have been resting for 50 odd hours now and am completly bored, but its my own good.
Im feeling very calm, just a bit of AF pains.

It is very strange to think that at this very moment that i wright this, i could be pregnant, not just with one but maybe two, how very strange :o :o .

But am trying to stay calm and not think about it too much.
I have two weeks off work, so next week will be a week of seeing friends and shopping, although all my freinds seem to be pregnant at the mo.

Sophie: Good luck with the rest of your 2ww, when do you test?, and are you feeling positive, or negative?>

Eminde: Good luck with your FET cycle.

Lisa: Good luck with ET.

Hello everyone!

Have had a damn headache on and off all day again - definitely a hormonal headache. And I am so tired all the time too. Oh well!

Sue - glad they managed to fit you in!!!! I hope the frosties arre okay. Mine were defrosted day before too. They said they would call from 9am the next day but they didn't call till after 5pm - What a nightmare of a day! Good luck honey!

Eminde - excellent news about FET! When will you start - will it be un/medicated?

Tracii - thanks for the postivity about Af cramps. Fingers crossed! Hope the FSH gets your ovaries going!!!!!

Macca - Good luck for tomorrow and remember - it only takes one to make a baby.

Charlie - (have posted elsewhere to you to re: DH question!) I understand how you are feeling at the moment. I found AF pains to be at worst during the first 4 days after ET. Now I am very headachy but trying not to analyse. I'm feeling neither pos/neg - just cruising along. I think it's mainly because I am so spaced out on the oestrodial tablets that I am still taking. I feel like I am on another planet! I test tues 21st.

Keep on going everyone - we have all come so far!!!

Traci - well done for staying +ve. It would be easy to lose your PMA but of course there is still hope. Hope it's better news on Saturday.
Lisa - really hope your little embies survived. They HAVE to. Let us know how ET went. Sending you lots of +e vibes!!!
Charlie - hope you are still feeling calm: seeing friends and shopping will help to keep your mind on other things (up to a point  ).
Sue - FINALLY your turn has come. Good luck for Saturday!
Joanna - again, congratulations to you and DH!!
Sophie - hope your headache goes. Not long to wait now!! As for my FET I've already started taking Gynokadin (oestrogen tablets). This'll be my first FET cycle so I'm not too sure how it'll be, but I assume I can go for ET in around 2 weeks' time. I still can't believe I can cycle again so soon after the last one. I'm just so excited again!!

Hope everyone else is OK?

Just a quick post to say........ YEAH GO SUE!!!! Despite the odds you have actually managed to ovulate on the only day of the month without an "a" in it, when the sun is shining and the pigs are flying high (ok - that was a bit of an exaggeration on when your clinic is open but it feels that way!!!!). Well done - and good luck for the next stage!

Morning (actually it's afternoon now!)
Scan was fab! One little survivor hanging in there! 3.4mm CRL (Crown Rump Length - dp thought they were talking about a nice juicy steak the dork!) Saw faint heartbeat (hooray!). Got a nice little picture for the album (will go with the pictures of the embryos!) which dp has stolen off me and is proudly carrying in his wallet! So cool!

How is everyone else? We seem a little quiet at the moment?

Wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to you Cla on your scan. You must be in 7th heaven now that you have seen the heartbeat!! So sweet of your DP with the photo in his wallet :)

Will be logging off for a week as we're going on a skiing holiday. It'll be a well-needed break especially for poor DH who's been so supportive over the past couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone!

Cla - Great news on your scan and i agree with Eminde that dh with the embie picture in wallet is so sweet. Fab that you got to see a heartbeat soon, at least now you can relax a little!!!! Well done

I think it is quite over here because most people have completed treatment and moved on :(

My 3 little frosties have all survived the thaw, when i found out i wanted to do cartwheels around the school (of course i didnt), would probably kill myself!!! So just one anxious night to go to see if they survive overnight and then possible et tomorrow am :D

Good luck all

love

Cla - congrats on the scan :D :D :D :D I always think how lucky the child will be with an 'embie' photo!! I always keep all my paperwork too...for the pre-pregnancy album :D So sweet of DH to carry the photo around...he must be so proud :D

Sue e - All the best for ET tomorrow....then it is time to relax and enjoy.

Will let you know the updated news tomorrow. I can't believe how long this cycle is taking..compared to my last one...am hoping this longer stimming cycle is cooking up very healthy eggs...trying to turn everything into a positive.

Eminde - Have a great time skiing. I am very jealous. The snow should be perfect!! And I am sure you will have lots of sunshine. My DH is a snowboarder (alpine) and when we dated I told him I would try snowboarder 1. if I had a private instructor and 2. if the lessons were in English....so what does he do??? Signs me up in a class with about 20
5-year olds in German! I felt like such a bafoon. During the lunchtime break...I said 'that is it...get me my skis now!'...I never went back to snowboarding...and I ski in my very old, long, long skis....that way DH can always find me in the lift line (can't bear to give them up for short skis). Enjoy!!! 8) 8) 8)

Have a great weekend!
