Hi everyone!!
Thank you sooo much for your wishes and support!
Back home on sunday and soooooooooooooooo very happy.
Its impossible to describe the emotions that go through your mind. And I'm sure everyone who has gone through this feels the same way..
Her name is Dhruvaa ( pronounced as druv- aa with a soft accent on the d)
The name means shining and glory..
She is such a source of joy and I gaze atvher endlessly(Kim, can only think of what you said and completely agree

) and get tears in my eyes - I thank God for what he has blessed me and dh with.
I had hoped for a normal delivery, but they had to do and emergency c-section as her heart rate dropped while I was being induced.
I am a bit disappointed, but only in myself at not being able to cope with the pain..
I asked for an epidural to control the pain and about 5 minutes after it was administered, her heart rate dropped..
She went into distress and so the c was done..
I had no clue of breathing etc and how to handle the pain- darling dh was holding my hand all through, but he could only soothe me, not the pain..
So I feel that ante natal classes are SO VERY important if offered, maybe they could help you concentrate on other things when having powerful contractions..
Anyway,
she's here, we're home and happy.and that has to be the understement of the year!
Its been tiring with the night feeds, but nursing her is sooo amazing.
I never thought I could love someone more than dh, but God sure has proven me wrong
I wish everyone on Earth the same joy that Dhruvaa has brought into our lives!
Sorry for the "me"post, I will post to everyone when able..
lots ofhugs,
smita
