Does anyone/everyone feel like this?

Hi All, I'm new to all this but am desperate to talk to people in a similar position.

My story in brief so far is that my husband had a Vasectomy 10 years ago and had it reversed in June last year and obviously we've been trying ever since. I feel as though i'm going mad though, every Period is agonising as each month I keep think I am pregnant, I seriously feel that every twinge I get is something different to anything i've ever experienced, but then I come on and it sends me into an emotional wreck. Does anyone else get like this? My husband is understanding but I don't think he can truly appreciate the physical need i'm feeling as he already has two children from a previous marriage!

Know exactly how you feel - my DH also had 3 kids & a vasectomy from his first marriage. We got married in Sept 01 & he had reversal in Jan 02 - TTC ever since.

Although DH is understanding and possibly more positive about IVF than me, at times I don't think he fully understands where I'm coming from. His querky little "Are we broody again?" can only cut it so far and often drives me to distraction.

Don't give up - the girls on this site have shown me it is possible & IVF can work and I think talking(!) to people in a similar situation also helps - my biggest bug bear is that medically there is nothing wrong with me and should be able to concieve naturally, but all because of a little snip (excuse the pun) can't with DH.
