BFP

Post by yogibunny »

Angela is still in hospital, but is showing signs of improvement at last. Her blood is much better. No news of when she will be allowed out.
They did a second test and didn't lose this one! It was a BFP :D .
Thank you all for your kind messages of support - Angela can read these threads from her bed in hospital, but is unable to post replies. She really enjoys keeping upto date with all the news.
Good luck to all

Hi Girls

Can I first say a big thankyou to you all for all of your support and pma!!

Unfortunately its a BFN for me too!! Couldnt stand the suspense any longer so went to the ivf unit and they did a hpt. Definate -ve but they told me to still do a hpt on Sunday!!
Very strange but I now I dont have any pains - just a little spotting still. With the amount of pain I have had I should be flooding!!
I am convinced it's over but dh is still positive and hopeful for Sunday dear of him!
Mind you Cla cant believe what happened to you with hpts - I dont think I will be that lucky though! But god would I be so ecstatic if it was wrong today!! Pleeeeeeze god?!?!
But anyway if not I will definately be trying again - maybe just once more.
Sorry to all other BFNs' - and congrats to all BFPs past and future.
Speak soon.

What day have you tested on? I thought you were testing on 19th? Hopefully you have tested too early. Implantation bleeds normally occur between day 10 and 14. Do you fall into this catergory???

Let us know how you get on over next few days,

SOPHIE - I KNOW - I WAS FEELING REALLY STRESSED TODAY SO WENT TO THE IVF UNIT AND THEY DID THE TEST!! SAID TO TEST ON SUNDAY STILL BUT ALSO SAID NOT LIKELY AS IF IT WAS POSITIVE ON SUNDAY WOULD BE FAINT TODAY?? IM CONFUSED! ESPECIALLY AFTER HEARING WHAT HAPPENED TO CLA WITH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE HPTs!! DIDNT KNOW THAT IMPLANTATION BLEEDING OCCURRED ON DAYS 10 - 14?? MY SPOTTING STARTED TODAY (DAY 13) AND IS STILL AS FAINT AS IT WAS THIS MORNING.

Congratulations Keven and Angela!!! What wonderful news to help you get through the rest of your recovery. Best wishes you are home soon!

Cla,
Wow! Your story is amazing. Thanks for sharing. It would give me hope except that when I went to the clinic today for my progesterone shot (hubby out of town), they decided to go ahead and blood test me. Said doing it a day early wouldn't hurt. The call back was a -ve. :(

So now I know for this round. Thanks everyone for your support. You can put me down for a BFN. But we are already looking ahead at round #2. We will get going as fast as they will allow.

Good luck to everyone else testing!

It is a positive for me !!! BFP!!
I just can not believe it!! I am looking for any pregnancy symptom but none, so there you are: flat boobs can be a +!
Oh, and after a faint line in 'First Response' , I sent DH for a ClearBlue in boots and got a strong line and the words 'Pregnant'!

Thank you all so much for your warm words for a positive result. I have been touched by such generosity in your kind wishes. I pray that you all realize your dream!

Angela: Congratulations!! I am so happy for you, relax while you can, in 8 months time you will be off your feet!! :D

Caz: I pray that sunday brings good news. Be confident that it will happen soon!

Randa: I am so sorry. I wish the very best of luck in your next cycle, and yes, most times it takes more than one go so keep positive. Warm hugs .

Love and good luck to the next testers!
