Glad to see they're doing extra scans - nothing like a bit of reassurance to please paranoid ladies such as us!!! (well me anyway!)

I'd like to add myself. I have my scan on Tuesday, Feb 21st. Joanna - I'm jealous that you got to go in early - I believe you and I had our +++ tests on the same day, and I'm tortured by the wait.

Also, I have to admit that I am TERRIFIED by the prospect of twins. Joanna - it's amazing that you're thrilled. Congratulations! I think I'd need some serious time for that news to settle in!

Morning (actually it's afternoon now!)
Scan was fab! One little survivor hanging in there! 3.4mm CRL (Crown Rump Length - dp thought they were talking about a nice juicy steak the dork!) Saw faint heartbeat (hooray!). Got a nice little picture for the album (will go with the pictures of the embryos!) which dp has stolen off me and is proudly carrying in his wallet! So cool!

Happy Friday!

yay, cla! congratulations! what a relief. i have heard that after seeing the heartbeat, one can feel pretty confident.

i am going crazy. absolutely nuts. my scan isn't until tuesday, and i don't see how i can make it until then. my hcg numbers were really high, and i NEED TO KNOW what's going on!!!

also, i feel lousy, which doesn't help. my ohss is not entirely unresolved, and boy and i sick of these sports drinks! - plus, i am so tired i don't want to get out of bed - and yet i hate complaining about it to my husband or anyone, as it's clearly all for the common good.

Oh Cla i am so pleased for you. I have still got 2 weeks to wait for mine. So unfair!! I have worked out i will be 8 weeks by then!

Gabriella: good luck on monday. I know how impatient we can get waiting. Have you tried drinking milk for your OHSS. My clininc has me on 2-3 pints of the stuff a day. It is definately helping. I am able to get back into my biggest jeans now. Totally concur with being tired though. I am back to work on Monday nwhich will be the teller. I have asked to be off the shop floor as much as possible (i work in a bookshop) so i can sit on my arse a lot.

Still can't get used to the bloated belly. Not hard anymore but moves like a breast implant( when you see them sitting out of a body and they kinda wobble around). Really very unattractive!

Have a great weekend everybody.I am trying to get DH outside to plant my raspberry canes - better late than never!
