3 days into 2ww & still no symptoms of pg!

Hi everyone,

I'm 3 days into my first 2ww and i have had no symptoms of AF pain or bloating. I am a little worried that my first cycle will be negative as we have no embryos that were good enough to freeze. Has anyone experienced this - no symptoms of pregnancy and its turned out to be a positive result? I still have a long way to wait - this is so frustrating!!

Hi,

It is so hard to distinguish between af sytoms and pg ones, most people do not know either way till the test day, some dont experience any symptoms at all. After et, an embroyo dosent attach itself till about day 5 so it is way to early to know. keep up the PMA, you never know

On my first IVF, my embryos weren't good enough to freeze either but I still had BFP. The best place for the embryos is inside you so whether they freeze any or not has no bearing on what will happen this time. You'll be fine Im sure!

Fiona...relax! it's way too early for any symptoms. The embies haven't started to attach to you yet so there can be no effects of them being in there.

You might go the whole 2ww with no symptoms (LauraM just did this and got a BFP), other people have symptoms (sore boobs, cramps, spotting)but sadly, it doesn't make any difference to the result. If you're on progesterone, many people have varying degrees of response to that, your body is also recovering from EC and there might be twinges associated with that and more importantly, the stress and anxiety of having to wait means our minds and bodies play tricks on us.

fiona, when did you have your ET? i had mine on sat morn and my test date is 3-1 how about you? i feel a "little" crampy and i noticed my areoles are getting a little darker and the progestorme does make me puke if i dont eat. sorry tmi ......im thinking positive for both of us

Thank you everyone for your responses, I feel much better now! For some reason I thought the embryo started to attach in the first couple of days so was beginning to panic!

Hi Jodic, i had my et the same day as you, I will test on around 3 March too! Good Luck to you - let me know how you go! I will try to have only PMA from now on!
