I am currently in the 2ww. Well this weekend I decided I should start walking in the early mornings (what kind of brain wave was that???). So this morning I go up and went for a walk. Well during my walk I fell on my a** and hit my head really good on the ground. I am not too worried about my head but if I was pregnant I sure am not now.
I can not believe I did something so stupid. Why could I not just relax and wait for the 2ww to be over. I am so mad at myself.
Sorry ladies, I just needed to vent and I sure need some PMA.

You poor thing - try not to worry as there is nothing you can do now to change the situation. If you were/are pregnant then everything is so well protected inside that I doubt a fall would be too much of a problem at this early stage as things are sooooo small.
For the rest of the 2ww perhaps take it really easy - perhaps have a 10 minute walk or wander in the garden if you have one just to get some fresh air.
Yesterday I drove my family to my DH birthday bash and slipped into almost the full splits in the mud..so things happen to us all from time to time...and I am half way through the 2 ww. I feel if things are meant to be they will hang on through thick and thin as thats what is needed in a good strong pregnancy.
Good luck and happy resting

Pam, sorry about your fall but what's done is done. If one fall meant the end of all pregnancies those of us who live in the snow and ice for 5m of the year would never see kids around. One bump won't ruin your chances. Think of the 'pea in a pot of honey' idea, it's very very reassuring.
Feeling any better after that tough-love message I can't walk anywhere because of the ice. I don't mind snow (it's pouring down again now) but the ice is a b*tch.
hugs
Debra.

Game Over.
Dates: Aug 02 - May 06
Tries: 5 fresh + 4 frozen.
Results: 1 daughter, 2 m/c, 1 ectopic.
Oh Pam!
As the others have said - our bodies are far more reiliant that we give them credit for - they need to be! Use this as an excuse to relax and take it easy for the rest of the 2ww. Also make sure the bump on the head IS ok - any headaches or dizziness then make sure you seek medical attention.
Put your feet up, have a hot drink and watch some trashy TV!!!!!!
Good luck!

During my first few weeks I slipped on the stairs and bounced down the last 4 or 5 stairs on my bottom!
Like you, I was very worried at the time that it would do some harm, but everything was fine.
Take care of yourself
Best wishes

We may have double the work but we get double smiles, double kisses and double cuddles.
I am so sorry to hear abt your fall. I know a friend who was pregnant and was in a car wreck and nothing happened to her baby! So, please do not worry about all that. Have positive thought. God has designed our system in such a way that a small incident will not disturb it. please please have positive thoughts!!!!
Thanks all of you for your encouraging words. I really needed to hear them yesterday. I can not do anything about the fall so it is out of my hands. It is nice to see that other people have fallen and still came out positive.
I have to wait until Monday to see the news.
Thanks all of you again,
Pam
