Another Newbie.....

Hi everyone, I've been reading all the posts on this site for a couple of weeks and decided its time to join in.<br>Background info - DH and I have been married for 6 years and have been ttc for 4 years. Usual tests on both of us didn't find anything much (a couple of cysts on one of my ovaries) so we joined the 'Unexplained' club. We tried Clomid for 3 months and then 3 lots of IUI before we moved onto IVF. Our first cycle - 11 eggs collected, none fertilised, which to be honest was a real shock and totally unexpected. Second,third and fourth cycles (with ICSI) all produced good embies but all -ve results.<br>Have recently changed hospitals (became really negative even just contacting the old place - silly I know its not their fault)and feel positive enough to embark on a new cycle.<br>Have stared injecting buserelin on day 21 of current cycle (they do things a bit different at this place)and have to wait for AF to arrive before first scan etc.<br>Sorry to go on, but its great to communicate with people going through the same emotions, feelings and horrible hormone moments.<br>Good luck to everyone on this rollercoaster ride.

Hi Gilly and welcome to the site.<br>OMG what a terrible time you've had. KNow what you mean about feeling really negative and everything. Even though you know its not the hospitals fault you feel as though someone somewhere is to blame. It's really awful isn't it?<br>Wishing you all the very best of luck, you'll get lots of support on this site.<br><br>As for me I had 1st IVF two years ago had two embies implanted (positive) and only one frozen. Thawed out the frostie last June and it didnt' survive. Had 2nd IVF this Feb had two embies put back (positive) then had a miscarriage and again only had the one frostie. Had the frostie thawed last week and really thought it wasn't going to make it but it survived. had implantation last Wednesday, so waiting to hear now. Not feeling too confident today though. <br>My tale isn't quite as dramatic as yours but I do know a little of what you're going through<br><br>Love Kate<br>

Hi <br>I just want to welcome you to the site, you have been on a rollercoaster ride, but I hope and pray that this cycle will work for you.
