Welcome Diane and Daly!
Good luck with your cycles - here's to all of us getting BFP's!!
I went to my yearly gyno appt yesterday and my Dr. shared some info with me I thought I'd share. I was telling him about my 1st IVF cycle last year and how "perfect" it went but no BFP. He explained that sometimes it just itsn't meant to be but they have done studies on IVF and the effects of stress and positive thinking. He said stress can really affect IVF outcomes and alot of times the 1st attempts are negative due to mainly that fact. He told me to really take a less stressful approach this time around, find personal things I can do while I am on the 2ww that will lower my stress and only think positively. He said it makes all the difference.
So I have been thinking about ways I can lower my stress. I tend to stress alot more than normal I think. My job has alot to do with it (mortgage business) but I can't quit! So how do I not let work problems cause me added stress?
Haven't figured that one out yet but I do want to somehow get my mind ready for this rollercoaster. I know your mind and thoughts have a huge effect on your body so now that I have lost weight and gotten my physical body in shape, I now am wanting to get my mind prepared and ready so that the end result will be BFP!!
Anyway, I hope I do get pregnant b/c my Dr. has one of those 3-D ultrasounds and he was telling me all about it. He showed me a recent picture taken of a baby and it was so cute!! You can see their faces so detailed - it was so sweet!
Ok ladies, I have chatted long enough! Let's all think positively, encourage each other and tell ourselves, this is going to be it!!!
