CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Isnt it amazing? What a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. She put you through so much to get here, Im so happy that all is well.
Dont be disappointed in yourself for needing an epidural to cope with the pain. I know how lucky I was to have a straightforward birth. Being induced doesnt give your body time to build up gradually, I know I would have needed more pain relief if I had ended up needing to be induced or things had been complicated. Anyway, as long as you and your little girl are ok, thats the most important thing in the end.
Its wonderful to hear your news. You are such a support to everyone on this website its about time you posted more of a 'me' post! Enjoy your 'babymoon' its such a special time!

Dont worry about the me post you have more than earned the right to do that, and we all want to read your news anyway.
Dont be down on yourself about the epidural. I have gone thru childbirth twice and had an epidural both times. If you were induced the contractions are much more painful than normal ones, so causing you to need the epidural.
Anyway congrats on your beautiful daughter. Take it easy

Smita,
Congrats on your new addition! Dhruvaa sounds like a beautiful name! I'm sure you and DH are overwhelmed with love for her =) It's amazing how they just take over your heart.
Sounds like you had a few scary moments during her birth, but the most important thing is that you both are home and healthy.
Congrats again!
Much love,
Kelly

Congratulations Smita and DH on the birth of your baby girl! I had an epidural and would not have changed my mind on that. Although a C-section was avoided, you do what is safe for you and baby. No time to look back, but to only look forward to endless days and nights dreaming of your baby.
See you at the New Mummies board, but may I suggest a little rest first.
Take Care,
Sher8
