Deb - HUGE HUGE HUGE and humangeous congratulations! That's wonderful and you soooo deserve it! It WAS your turn, that's for sure!
I thought you weren't due to test until tomorrow and just logged in to wish you good luck (did I get this wrong?)....well done! So pleased for you!

Not feeling too positive about my test date on Wednesday, occasional stinging pain on left (mainly) and right and no breast tenderness or anything, so not too optimistic. But as a friend said, it's not over until the fat lady sings...somehow also don't want to get my hopes up, because the disappointment is just too much to bear!

Laura, am so happy you start to feel some nausea - I'd be the same would be happy to tolerate it because it's such a clear sign of being pregnant! Enjoy every minute of it!

Debra and Laura - well done! Many many congratulations on your well-deserved BFPs!

Very best wishes,
bina

Bina, you were right. I was due to test today but because my clinic send the tests off to the local hospital, the result comes back tomorrow after 2pm and I couldn't wait!

You know you can't worry about symptoms of lack there of, they mean nothing. I had super tender boobs in the first week then nothing....

Looking foward to your news tomorrow!

Hi Debra and Laura,
thanks so much for your well-wishes!
On top of not feeling that positive, I actually forgot to take the pessary last night and just took it at 6am this morning instead. So had it about 7-7 hrs late! Does that matter? Obviously now I'm convinced it's all going pear-shaped, if I'm not even capable of taking the drugs properly...nightmare!
Anyway, sorry, don't mean to bring anyone down. you both have such wonderful news to celebrate!
Will let you know my result tomorrow pm.
Cheers,
bina

Bina, one slightly late pessary doesn't mean a thing. Some people are on 1, others 2. Some people have leaks, others none. Someone's GP said 'no one ever stayed pg due to a pessary' (which makes you wonder doesn't it?).

You'll be fine. This is just last-minute-nerves!
hugs

Well, guess what: it's a positive! Looks like it worked (again)! Clinic just called to say I'm pregnant (apparently v. good levels, whatever that means)!
I'm shaking with excitement! It's just so unbelievable - can't believe we could be lucky twice...!
Phew - so, there we are - us three!
Supposed to get some work done - no chance, really.

Then there's the anxious wait until the scan...but won't worry about that until tomorrow....

lots of love,
bina

WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Bina, well done!

We 3 are the living proof that hoiking toddlers around with all the bending and fetching and carrying and stretching and tidying and what not, makes no difference whatsoever. I've tried telling people on the General Forum that resting for 2 weeks is no panacea but here we are, the living, breathing, pregnant truth! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY for us!

Well done Laura, well done Bina and well done me!

Debra (who's a bit excited as you can tell!)

Wonderful , wonderful news!!! :D :D :D
I am soo happy for you!
Congratulations!
No we have 3 little girls waiting for a sybling to arrive this year!

I am also soooo worried about the scan. When would yours be, girls?
Mine looks like the 9th of March.
Unfortunately, as i live very far from my clinic, I sent the blood test via post, and they didn't get it! So I have sent another one today so I can hear the 'good news' from them officially. A bit worried. Anyway I did another test yesterday and it looks very pregnant, plus I did have nausea. I hope my levels are fine...

Cheers and good luck to whoever is trying for the second one!

Love

Still can't quite believe it!
Had convinced myself it wasn't going to happen, because it was surely someone else's turn...!
Anyway, leaves the issue of my new job (with old boss, who got me on board after 13 months extended maternity leave!). What do I say to her? And when?
Any suggestions?

YES- Debra, also very very excited and don't know what to do with myself...!

love,

Bina, your choice is to tell her early (but not the company just yet) early 'because I owe it to you and want to the right thing as you entrusted me with extended leave last time' or say nothing until you're 100% sure of how it's all going.

Laura, grrrrr...re. the missing blood. I hope you get your stats asap. My scan is booked for 10th. My clinic are cautious and usually like to wait until 7++ weeks, this will be just under 7. Soon enough I guess.....

Bina, I hope you don't mind but I added you to the Feb testers. When will you get a beta reading? Mine is due anytime now. I called at 2pm but was told the hosp. were running behind and it would be later today....OK...I'm waiting.

I said I'd not get too cock-a-hoop but that didn't last long did it?

Will post the stats asap.

You'd never think I'm supposed to be working (alebit for myself) would you?

The beta is 84 which is well over the 50 they like to see but not twin-high.

Happy with that - must get some work done before I collect DD in an hours....
