Just wanted to say I didnt feel braxton hicks until the day before I went into labour. Towards the end of pregnancy my abdomen did feel really hard sometimes when I felt it, but I couldnt feel it tightening. I woke up on the 18th (day before Jenna was born) with the braxton hicks and then started with what felt like period pains. My contractions then started late afternoon and built up overnight.
Hope you arent waiting too long!

Hi Ladies

Well nothing has happened yet. My little one is still very comfortable and has made no signs of wanting to come out yet, though I sometimes feel some twinges around the waistline and they disappear - I just hope thats how it starts and it will happen soon.

thanks everyone for willing my baby on and for your warm advice.

CC- Thank God you found those bird mites before your little one arrives, how is it going, are they completely gone now, we dont want anything that disturbs your angel's peace when it comes home.

Thanks K that has given me hope even without the braxton hicks.

I was so excited when I saw that you had posted, I was convinced that there had been movement your end.

Obviously you and me are both playing the waiting game - impatiently by me!!!

I hope that something happens for both of us to talk about this w/e.

Lets hope so, this weekend should bring us some news. I have just been telling mini Esther that Saturdays and Sundays are lovely birthdays not mondays, So I tried my best to convince her (I also feel like iam carrying a girl) to make the best use of this weekend.

I will be 40 weeks on monday though my ticker says otherwise.

I will not rest until labour comes.

Lets hope that these mini people decide to make themselves known to the outside world this weekend - I know that DH would be as happy as I am if it happened sooner rather than later.

I shall keep everything crossed for us (apart from the obvious!!!)
