Just got off my three days resting on the couch. A little boring, but relaxing. Our ET went well on Saturday. We had two little blastocysts put back. We have two frozen. We are really pleased that we ended up with 4 blastocysts - I think that is a pretty good number.
I have had AF type pains since yesterday - much worse at night. I hope that is a good sign. Reading back on old posts, most women seem to have AF type symptoms all throughout the 2WW. My test date will be on 2nd March.
Tiger - how are the moving plans coming along? Did you get your boxes? Are you going to do your next lot of treatment in the UK or back in OZ? I hope you are well & looking forward to the move.
I hope everyone else is well.
Take care

Missmolly - I hope you're relaxing and picturing those little embies implanting. Not long at all until the 2nd March!
Belinda - I think (if my calcs are correct), you are over the 12 week mark...Congratulations!
I've been on Puregon since Friday, and they started me on 75 but have now dropped me to 50 b/c they were concerned at my levels. I'm so worried they are either going to cancel cos of potential OHSS again, or it wont be enough to produce any follies. I am actually feeling really low at the moment, and don't have a good feeling at all about this cycle. And it scares me cos I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't work. I have a scan tomorrow, so hopefully will get some good news to cheer me up.
Bella.

Hi guys,
MissMolly, CONGRATULATIONS on such a good outcome. 4 blasto's is FABULOUS!! news, I'm so proud of you!!..can't wait to hear your BFP result in less than two weeks now, will also be great to have two on ice for future siblings I reckon!!
Bella, you're sweet for remembering. I'm 11 and a half weeks today, 12 weeks on Saturday, so almost there and I can "tell the world". We have the nuchal fold scan the following Friday (this Friday week), so really should probably wait until we get through that (hopefully) before I can tell all and sundry..Bella, sit tight with the whole follies game. You know that it's early days and that the dose can be increased or decreased as needs be. I can understand not wanting you to hyperstim again, bloody awful really, and best avoided, but can also understand wanting a good haul of good quality eggies (and then embies). It WILL happen Bella. Have faith and keep up that pma (as our lovely Tiger would say!!). Make sure you let us know how you get on tomorrow. I have all crossed for you.
Bella - I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so down. Even if you don't respond well at first to the FSH, it is easy for your doctor to adjust the dose to make it work for you. Its better that they are doing it this way rather than risking OHSS. You WILL get there, it might just take a little closer monitoring than in preious attempts.
Bel - WOW, I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going! It will be so exciting when you can tell the world!!!
My AF pains are quite strong. Yesterday & Monday I had some pinkish coloured spotting - only a tiny amount (sorry in TMI!). I really hope AF is not around the corner. The spotting seems to have subsided.
Bella - Good luck on the scan & let us know how it goes.
Take care

I agree with MissMolly totally. I am certain that doctors are doing what is best for you. Please remember that you are not alone in this IVF experience. We are all here for you; we share your pain with you. Please be strong and believe in yourself; that you can do this, that it will happen. I tell myself the same everyday, it will happen for me, it will.
Take care sweetie, I have my fingers crossed for you.
MissMolly, your little spotting sounds like an implant spotting to me .
Belinda, 12 weeks so soon . Then you can tell the whole world about it. Can you imagine how delighted everyone will be, I am so excited for you and Johnie!!!
Thanks Tiger. It would be lovely if it was! I am trying to have only PMA, but want to be cautious as well.

MissMolly, am totally with Tiger here, sounds like implantation bleeding to me, a very positive sign. Means these embies are bedding down for a comfy 9 months (give or take a couple of weeks!!), so I say relax and enjoy!
Tiger, thanks so much for your positivity and energy, you are a wonderful friend, incredibly supportive and sweet. I can't wait to share YOUR good news one day very very soon (a little Tiger is a kitten is that right??)
Take care all.
Bella, remember your mantra: PMA PMA PMA.

Thanks Bel. I really am hoping that it is implantation bleeding. I had another couple of tiny, tiny spots yesterday as well. I have major AF type cramping, so I am running to the loo every 2 seconds it seems to check undies!!! I keep expecting to find full blown AF, but only the tiny spots. I then think it is start of AF, but I never usually get any spotting. This 2ww is a killer - but I hope with a great outcome.
Good luck for Friday, it will be perfect
Thanks so much for the ongoing support

MissMolly,
Before each of my IVF BFP's I was UTTERLY convinced that af was coming. All the classic signs were there in glory; pimples, cramping etc etc, and then lo and behold, a BFP. It's certainly implantation bleeding. Keep the faith.

Hang in there Miss Molly - spotting in these early days is really, really common for those with a BFP, so fingdres crossed for the 2nd - you are almost half way through your 2 weeks! Are you taking the whole time off work?
Tiger - how goes the packing and moving? Will you take your furniture as well, or is it mainly 'personal effects'?
Bel - your 12 week mark and scan date have come around so quickly - it is amazing how fast things change - I read an old post of yours on the 'Parents after Treatment' site from May last year, Annie was only about 6 months old, and the thread was from mothers wondering if they migt conecive naturally post an IVF pregnancy - which was prophetic, in your case!
Has anyone heard from Deanne? She must be well and truly due / overdue at this stage, so hope she is keeping well.
We are a 'bit' tired - massive understatement - madam has decided that everytime she sees / smells me, she desperately needs to be fed - nipples feel like they are going to fall off, and I am starting to feel like a dummy - it is setting her into a shocking sleeping pattern, as she feeds, falls asleep, wakes up quickly (half an hour...) because she hasn't had enough to drink, and so the cycle continues. Am off to the maternal clinic today, so will ask for some advice - which will no doubt be common sense, but at 3 in the morning it can be hard to think straight!!
Take care

Those early days are HARD BLOODY WORK. Annie used to engage in quite a bit of "napping and snacking" as well. I ended up riniging Riverton (Qld based helpline for parents going crazy), they advised to use the old eat, play sleep thang and have at least an hour to three hours between day feeds. Took a bit to get there, but really worked for us. Also really helped having a non-lactating person (John) around to try and settle her back to sleep if she woke prematurely (like after 45 minutes). If Annie got a wiff of me she was trying to latch on...Good luck, and hopefully your clinic offers some sound advice...
Can't believe that we're 12 weeks on Friday either, and yeah, when Annie was six months old the thought of getting pregnant naturally would have blown me out of the water..still does to be honest!!
Haven't heard from Deanne. Can only imagine she's either in hospital or home and completely sleep deprived (which seems the norm in the first few months I seem to recall??)
So nice to hear from you. You sound BUSY to say the least (but in a good way by the sounds of it ).
Bel - Thanks again for your kind words. I'm hanging in there! I am allowing myself to visit the toilet for undie checks every three hours - not every 1/2 hr like I have been doing!!!!!
