I'm fine - still in the "bump on board" way - I think I have tried absolutely everything so I guess now I shall have to sit back and let nature dictate.

Hi Esther - still thinking of you and urging your little one to make an appearance. Its so lovely that we're not in this alone though isn't it? I feel so lucky to have found this group and even though I would like mine to come on time I'm not too anxious cos I know I'm gonna have all you guys to talk to. Have you been given any news on induction or other measures if things don't happen soon? When do they consider such interventions? I read somewhere that in France they consider 42 weeks common and don't induce until after that - imagine that!
Anyway, keep relaxing and stop cleaning - you need to save your energy now!

LittleP - After cleaning the house and going for a walk yesterday, I thought things had started moving but it was just for a little while, and everything stopped.
But Iam fine only if not only for the pains that come and go.
Iam scared of going for my walk today, incase things move quickly I dont want to give birth in public. I will stick to using the stairs today.
CC- Yes I agree with you, the tremendous support we get from this group makes this difficult journey seem easy. And as soon as we discover we are not in this alone, we get so much encouragement to keep trying and get our lost confidence back.
Iam booked to see my consultant on the 6th of much if nothing happens by then, for membrane sweeping and possibly discussing induction if I go beyond 42weeks.
At my hospital they let women go to 42weeks like you said in France they consider it normal, as it will be 40weeks gestation by then which is normal. After that the placenta stops functioning well and the risks will be too high.
How are you feeling today. Hope not too bad.

There's a little exercise you can do just to test that the Colostrum is starting to come through - it doesn't really leak, but it will push through the surface.
I'll PM you the instructions if you want - our NCT teacher told us about it.
