Lupron and Leg Pain - Is this supposed to happen?

Post by brian_maxwell »

Hello:

My wife and I just started our Lupron injections today. She gave herself the injection this morning in her thigh, and has been experiencing leg pain all day.

Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do to help her get rid of the pain? Is there anything that can be done to prevent the pain? Please help!I am so nervous I don't know what to do.

Hey

I had severe leg pain after I took Lupron. I felt like teh muscles were all streching/aching. It was very bad. After a 2-3 days, the pain stopped by itself. I did not do anything!

I know it is, but have faith and think of the ultimate result and keep going. It is worth the trouble!I have gone through 4 cycles myself and now finally pregnant but every day is a scare...The tension never goes, first its worry about the fertilization, the 2 ww whether its positive or not, then the 1st scan and then the 3 month scan....it never really ends....

So, please keep urself strong,...its a long journey even after you get positive..this is just a beginning..

take care of yourself and your wife, she needs it more than anything else...
