brs88 - when do we cross over into the 3rd tri anyway? the whole month/tri thing confuses me so i just have to tell everybody how many weeks along i am, because i can't figure it out!

i finally started getting that feeling in my wrists - like they need to be stretched out. i hope that's not the whole carpel tunnel thing i've read about.

the babies kick me all the time.

have i mentioned that my belly hair is getting long? CREEPY.

Hi KC and Brandy - most books say 28 weeks as start of 3rd tri but I've also seen 26 + 27 listed so I guess you move over when you feel ready - Lovely news and exciting times ahead - come on over and start counting down to the big day!!

Hi everyone
I am still sick it doesn't seemt o want to go away, I am on Diclectin but it doesn't help. I have tried just about everything, nothing works.
On the bright side I went for my scan and seen my little one it was waving and kicking around.
Denise- I don't have an ob yet still with my family dr. How did your scan go?
Mandyb - I know what you mean about mood swings, I sometimes feel bad for my hubby.

Hi girls

we are a bit of a quiet lot aren't we?????
I have been having accupuncture for the sicknessa nd tiredness and mood swings and it has really helped. The sickness STILL comes in waves (sorry Chrissy  ) but I find if I eat a good brekkie and my main meal at lunch time, then it's OK as long as I snack the rest of the day. I am thristy all the time so drinking loads. Good tip against the whoops for me Chrissy was citrus fruit - grapefuit and lime jiuce the best, I drink gallons of very diluted lime juice cordial with fresh lime squeezed in YUMMY 8)

We had the nuchal scan results AGAIN this time calculated with the RIGHT age (26, the donor age last time they used 42 my age) came back as T21 1:18,000 and other 1:20,000 so that's really reassuring. Now I am on fortnightly scans so have to wait to next week - when are U all getting scanned again???? Denise didn't you have one earlier this week???are you OK honey????

Have bought my FIRST ever thing on eBay (A bit behind the times me...) a belly button maternity top - got it for €9 and it's brand new :D am between sizes now, early pg stuff too tght, next stage stuff too big as I have lost wieght, or rather my weight has re-arranged itself! (actaully my bump and boobs are big and my bum is smaller so that's fine)..

kagome - my doc says weeks 16-20 you start to get flutters and then feel movements...so far I feel nothing but the doc says you can confuse it with wind

How you doing Caroline and Lav????

hugs to all going on to 3rd tri - last leg ladies

love and hugs to all of us

Hey guys.

Sorry I've been so quiet. My scan went really well on Monday. I haven't spoken to the doc yet, she'll get the results by Friday or so - so I don't know genders yet.

Both babies doing well, heartrates were 158 and 162, and we got some awesome pics - i'll post links if you guys want to see them!

It was incredible seeing them move around, and even hit the membrane between the two of them! Very cool.

Sickness seems to be fading and my cold is almost done. I'm still taking my Diclectin at night, and I think I'll keep that up for awhile til I'm sure I'm not sick anymore.

Hang in there girls - we're almost at the half way point!

Hi ladies
smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

Debise - luverly lil piccies of bubs A and B :D looks just like my bubs

off for a scan today, really excited as haven't seen sweetie for 2 weeks

Have bought a doppler fetal heart rate monitor from ebay (£89), wonderful, can hear little sweetie whenever I want, very reassuring. Heart rate varies from 148 - 160. The Gynae has even given me a bumper pack of ultrasound gel for free, wasn't that sweet????

I think, not sure, that evenry now again I can feel sweetie move, they say it feels like wind moving around..any one else got that feeling???

My scanner is broken, but will buy a new one and post piccies of sweetie, also havbe a good one of us at ISIDA with the embryologist and our frosties after ET will post that too...

hugs to all of us

Jules, the first time I felt DD (20weeks) I dismissed it as it was so slight, almost like very soft gas bubbles or something similar. It's a very, very gentle beginning to their movements. Easy to miss or think it's something else. It made me cry so much I had to left the room where I was working!

Enjoy!
