BFP but AF pain! what r Early Preg symptons??

Hi there,

Is there anyone out there who had AF pains and a funny start but still had a full term pregnancy?
I just got a BFP blood result yesterday, but am crapping myself because have normal period pains, and no pregnancy stymptoms like sore breasts etc. In addtion to this I have taken a few home tests which are reading negative!!

My hcg level is supposed to be 160, but the day after my bloods, I took another home test to assure myself that they hadnt mixed my results up, and the test came up negative again! It was supposed to be an ultra sensative test that picks up on 50iu of HCG but it still isnt reading positive.

I have another blood on Wednesday, but am going to go crazy in that time. Does any one have a similar experience. What are early pregnancy symptoms like?

Well I had AF pains for ages and was bleeding and getting AF thruout until I was 18 wks pregnant. It was so scary but it all worked out fo rme and have alittle boy who is 2 years old.

Thanks Shell. This is crazy I am so incredibly stressed and petrified! I just wish I could know for sure that its going to be Okay! I just dont feel like I can even relax and believe its actually happened.

Just wanted to wish you all the best for your second bloodworks tomorrow. I had cramping and felt very PMTish for 4 weeks after ET, no symptoms either... they came on big style much later. Oh, and sometimes those stupid sticks don't work!

Hi Mel

I'd trust the blood tests if I were you. If you really want to do another hpt buy another realiable make like clear blue..

I had AF like symptoms for weeks and no sore boobs til 8 weeks
