Hi i passed a big clot after my first failed ivf. I normally do not pass such big clot. it is more like just blood mixed with sherds. I am confused i hope i have not developed endometriosis
If you think about how they prepare you for IVF they ensure your endometrium is as perfect as possible, this means thick. Losing it afterwards is not going to be the same as AF, which might start slowly or be over a different period of time. It's also possible that we notice more detail before we're more aware of what's happening vs. a regular AF.
I think having clots in post-tmt AF is really normal and not something to be concerned about unless it happens month after month.
If you've just finished a cycle you might want to join the Pheonixes Rising as they've all got experience and are a lovely group of people to chat to.
good luck
Debra.

Hi Anu
i had exactly the same clot as you after my first failed IVF last year and was assured by the excellent nurse at my clinic that this is entirely normal, it's just hormonal with a scary side effect! You will be amazed how fast your body bounces back. Take care x
Don't worry about the clots, they are entirely normal after IVF. Try using a hot water bottle and it will ease the pain from them.
It's pretty unfair that this happens after such sad news.
