Debra: I'm so sorry to hear your news. Life is so unfair.

Jules: I'm glad you and baby are doing fine.

Lara: Keeping fingers crossed for you!!

My scan went well today. I had 12 follies that the nurse measured and some smaller ones that she did not count. My nurse thought that I may have 8 follies in the mature range when we are ready to do EC. It will most likely be on St. Patick's day, Friday. If we do EC on Friday, then ET will be next Wednesday. I go back for another scan and more blood work on Wednesday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

We have had so much rain here that I have been a little on the blue side. I need sunlight!!!

Take care all!

Gail: Keeping my fingers crossed for your little embies. I will be thinking of you as you go through ET. Does your doctor advise two days of bed rest? Mine wants me to stay home, either in bed or on the sofa, for two days following ET.

Caz:

I've never heard of using steroids with the Menopur. My doctor uses Gonal-f and Menopur and then Cetrotide the last few days.

Hi To Everyone,
It's been a while since i've been reading posts and worrying about this rollercoaseter. I just started a short protocol today. I am taking puregon 400 iu and merional 150iu. I am already upset because my FSH was 13. This is the highest it has ever been. I guess i will take each day as best i can and we shall see if any follies grow. I have a scan on Fri.

I do hope some more of us has some good news. It is really positive to read the list to see many of us from the 40+ that do become pg and carry to term and deliver wonderful bouncing babies. It gives me hope!

I am similiar to Caz and Gail as that I have a daughter that is 4. I've been trying for two years and i'm sorry i never seeked hlep while i was still in my 30's. I am now closer to 41 than 40. Each month that goes by it gets harder and harder. I'm not ready to accept the fact that i can't have another baby. I just hope and pray they retrieve more than one egg this round.

I'll let you know what happens Fri.

All The Best,
Robyn

GOOD LUCK ROBYN!! MY LAST FSH TEST WAS 13! AND I HAD SIX GOOD SIZE FOLLIES - 3 IN EACH OVARY - UNFORTUNATELY THEY ONLY RETRIEVED 3 FROM 1 OVARY AS APPARANTLEY BLOOD VESSELS WERE AROUND THE OTHER OVARY SO IT WAS TOO DANGEROUS TO TRY WITH THAT ONE - ANYWAY THEY DID GET 3 AND 2 FERTILISED AND WERE PUT BACK!! (SORRY TO SAY - DIDNT WORK!!
SO THE VERY BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOTH!!
