Nicki - I'm around 10st 2lbs but at 5' 9'' I should be a bit heavier. Its all to do with your BMI index and if you don't weigh enough your body won't be able to carry a baby, all do with the fat levels. All the foods she mentioned have good fat (is there such a thing?!!) and thats why we're meant to eat them. Plus we should never let our sugar levels drop, they need to be maintained throughout the day. So, the rule is girls always have a bag of almonds or raisins with you and fruit smoothies!!

It wasn't like a clinic at all, there was soft music playing and they were burning something that smelled quite nice!! Suppose its all to put you at ease and help you relax.

Anyway, hope all is well elsewhere on this ever continuing fertility rollarcoaster - I do wish I could get off sometimes and do the things I did before I got on this ride!!

Hi (the red is to get me romantic for tomorrow)

Rachel - it is a whole TEN years tomorrow!!! Gone sooo fast and don't feel old enough (most days!).

Bobs - My dates pf "July" are a guesstimate. Thats when I will be "called" but who knows when it will all begin.

Macca - Sorry to read your experience :-(. Where are you from? Hopefully I start in July too....

Lis - How you feeling honey? Hope ok :-) x What Rachel says about Rome is right. A fantastic place to see. If you can afford and get the opp to go throw caution to the wind and book it! You won't regret it.

Souris - How are you? Read your other thread and you sound in real turmoil with the decision making. We went on an adoption course a few years ago and there seemed to be too much red tape for me. Couldn't take it all in and think I went too early as was still grieving over the fact we may never have our own children as our Dr was a dumbass and let us believe it was the end of the road!!! (Look at us now.....) There were 5 couples on the course and 3 went ahead, 2 of which have now got adopted children! The decisions come to you in time. Chin up.

Gail - Hope you are ok and work went well today?? (as well as work goes lol).

Nikki - Keep up the good work with the diet and hope DH is better now so you can shed a few more lbs tonight!

Lucy - How are you chuck?

Hi everyone

Macca (lisa) welcome to the thread. I really don't understand hospitals, I was also put on the maternity ward when I went for my D&C just before xmas, I just cried and cried, as if we aren't going through enough without staff just being insessative, they should provide a seperate part of the hos for us ladies. Anyway Hun Good luck for July, it'll be here before you know.

Bobs - Yes you go an enjoy a hol before treatment, it may do you the world of good, I don't think I would like to fly when preg either, I am suppose to be going away in Aug, but won't commit myself incase I get a BFP in May.

Kate21 - Welcome - I am also cycling in April, it's nice to go through it at the same time as someone else, we can keep each other sane..! Wow you saw Zita West, I still haven't bought her book, I really need to, heard so much good stuff about her. Eh? No thongs or tampax, I can not wear big knickers, they are so uncomfortable, I love thongs and I can not wear pads, don't think I'd be in her good books then.!

Rachel - Hi Hun, Hope your OK? Good luck for Wednesday, with your consultant.

Julie - Happy Anniversay for tomorrow, have a lovely day and evening. 10 years huh? I have been with DP for 5 years now, we are engaged and was going to get married last year but we need money for IVF, but I'm happy the way things are. We just need a baby now.

Souris - Hows you?

Nicki - Hows the diet going? Are you still waking DH up in the mornings.??

Gail - Did you start your drugs yesterday?

MLG - How you doing?

Lola - How's you?

WHERE IS JEN - HOPE SHE'S ALRIGHT?

Hi to anyone else I've missed. (sorry if I've missed you)

Take Care everyone

Lucy

Rachael work wasn’t too bad, would rather not have gone though !!!! I love your dog at the bottom of your message, he is so sweet.

Julie hope you have woken up a bit now since your Saturday night out. 8) I start sticking needles in myself tomorrow, be glad to get the first one out the way. Im really looking forward to all those nice bruises again. :? Hope you do get the go ahead to start in April. How are you celebrating tomorrow? You might have already said but if so I missed it

Kate I don’t suppose Zita mentioned if chocolate has good fat in it did she. :D It sounds like a very relaxing clinic, I wish my fertility clinic was like that. I think once you are on the rollercoaster its very difficult to get off, it will all be worth it when we all get our BFP this year (PMA PMA) Better go and buy some Bridget Jones knickers

Lucy I did start my drugs yesterday. Yessssssss. Have you settled back into work ok now?

Big knicks and pads - mmmm, sexy minx!
Nope, can't do it.

How's everyone today? First day back today - like gail - boooooo. work sucks n blows in equal measure.

Kate - good to see you on here. The guru Zita, you should have stolen a bit of her hair or something to wear as a talisman. Now you've met her you're bound to get pregnant. My doc suggested I put some weight on but is too hard! I'm a tad short so I just look like a weeble if I put weight on.

Julie - hope you enjoy your anniversary, a decade! You clearly don't wear baggy pants!!

Lis I'm with the f*** it crowd - you need a good holiday

Rachel - good luck with the appointment - lots of people cycling in lovely springtime.

MLG - how you doing??? Do you have a rough date for transfer?

Gail how're the injectioneeees?

Hello to everyone else!

Well since starting the patches I've had a really wierd feeling in my abdo, like mild period pain. Not Good is what I'm thinking. Anyhoo, to cut a long one short, have decided its a UTI and am going to eat some antibiotics. I hope it is. If this cycle gets cancelled I'm getting a total body transplant and shipping out. I have pre transfer paranoia.... argh.....

HERE I AM!!!!!!...Thanks for your concerns you FAB Pheonixes...I have just had the week from hell in work...when you take a week off in our place it takes you 3 wks to catch up...i did post and tell you i'd be doing overtime and by the weekend i was knackered...so just chilled ( and did washing ironing cleaning hoovering and shopping!) :?

This week i have had a very very big surprise...DF has been head hunted and offered a job ( mega promotion) in Forres...That is a small town 350 miles & 4hrs drive from here...I am a big city girl and now we are going to be moving in the next 4-6 months !!!!! SO i have now to find time to do the unfinshed DIY and garden and look for a new job! So all of a sudden i feel overwhelmed with stuff to do! DF starts his job on the 17th April so he will be living up there during the week and i will seee him at weekends. :( :( We are now going on ski hols the 25th March...And i will be starting tmt on my own :?

I will catch up with personals when i have read all the news...( hopefully some time this week) 8)

Jeni Babe!!!!

I am so happy to see ya xxx

wow!!! Life is changing for you!!!

You will be fine, I am excited for ya, the new move and new house and job is much like us, and promise u will feel better for it hun!!!

I am so happy, honestly when I think back not been as happy since 1997/1998 and that was way before we were ttc......... Life since then has been hard, but some one told me once a freind who's 3 yrs older!! she said once you get to 30 life is great, as u have made all ur mistakes, and learnt from them, u have experience in life yet you are young enough to enjoy it and be silly but still be mature about it too!!!!

30's are the best years!!!!

So pheonixes who are in 30's and over can confirm this and under 30's can look fwd to it!!!!

Really not sure who's what age anyway!!!

Well, as mentioned briefly, spoke to manager who was cool, and fab, when i told her she was excited and we started talking about her wanting kids too, but her fella doesnt coz he's got kids from previous marriage etc.....Anyway, she's happy to help me keep it hush hush from other's in office!!! So I am well happy!!!

Dh has got cold and was in bed at 6pm last night, I slept in spare room, however think I have it coming anyway, feelin a bit heady!!!
Ovulation has occured so not too fussed at sleeping alone!!! LOL!!!!

If u read Zita's book she says that stuff in there, about tampons etc.... She's a wise woman, and when u read about what she thinks about relaxation etc...... You can understand where she's coming from thats why I think now I am happier in life this IUI will work!!!
TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Morning Girls!

The pads and big knickers are all to do with the PH balance - tampax dry us out too much and thongs?....well I guess they're too tight in the places they shouldn't be and have a similar effect about changing our PH levels.

Nicki - hows the diet going?

Gail - no chocolate wasn't mentioned, but they way they went through my diet sheet I have a feeling that it wouldn't be put on the top of a list of things to eat!!!

Lucy - great to have a cycle buddy, we cycled together on our first one, here's hoping this one is THE one! :D

Julie - perhaps to be on the safe side you shouldn't scratch your arse!!!

Souris - how you doing? I think you've just got to go with what you feel is the right thing to do. As long as you can turn around in a few years time with no regrets then go with your gut instinct.

Hope everyone else is doing ok, sorry if I missed you out!
Kate :D
Lola - here's hoping Zita has a positive effect - I will pass on all the good vibes to you guys!
