Well hello!!

Mummy (Little P to you all) is having a well earned rest, so I thought I would take a moment to post and introduce myself. Mind you I feel like I know loads of you already.

I came into the world on Sunday 12 March at 10.41 pm - Mummy said I was most obliging, let Daddy watch all the football matches before the time to go to hospital came. Unfortunately, I had to put Mummy through 4 hours of labour, but she keeps telling me that that is nothing compared to some women - especially when having a first baby. She didn't even have time for drugs - oops!!!

Anyway, I'm starting to find my way round this world of yours - it's funny really how different things are on the outside. Mind you, I'm not allowed to tell you about things on the inside ... that's us Newborns secret!!

Right - well Mummy will be back on the boards soon, just as soon as I give her some time. She keeps cuddling me which is great - oh, and I've met what is apparently my Daddy - he's just wonderful too and has a lovely snuggly body!!

Anyway, bye for now and hugs to you all.

Oh - almost forgot::

I'm a girl and they've called me Amelia. I came into the world weighing 6lbs 6.5oz.

Apparently most people thought I was going to be a boy, but Mummy has always insisted that she was carrying a girl.

how wonderful to take a min out of ur getting to know this outside world busy life to think of all us waiting for news .. ur mummy will be proud of u (not that she isnt already)

Welcome to baby Amelia! Another beautiful baby girl!

Only 4 hours of labour, Little P! Thats amazing for a first baby! Hope you are enjoying every minute with your little girl. Its amazing isnt it?

You have come into the world very bright, you can even type, thats wonderful.

You look after your mum now and be as good in this outside environment as you were inside your cocoon.
